A softbox will spread the light more and make it softer. So that is a good option. As for blead from other lights. Any light can be an issue if you are hitting the background with other light sources and do not what that to show.

LOVE my Nova P309c, waited a long time to get it but it was definitely worth it! The light has such a good build quality, and the case is also very nice! Very similar quality and output to a sky panel but less than a 1/3 of the price! Plus you get the Sidus link app which makes tweaking the color so easy! Can't wait to get creative with it! 5

I will always take this to a shoot. Get a softbox for it as well to maximize potential. Get the Aputure softbox, it's perfectly good and the other brands overcharge for a produce that's not any better. It's color accurate and bright. Does every color with some silly effects to boot. What's not to love? 5

It took forever to get my pre-order. But I knew the quality would be worth it. I haven't used it on a job yet, but I have full confidence in this unit. Yes it's large, so have a good stand for it. I actually took the initiative to order a combo stand and a low-boy combo so I could have full confidence in a sturdy stand at both low and high positions. C-stands are fine but DO NOT use a standard light stand. 5
