A: As long as the B+W filters in question have 52mm filter threads on the front of the filter, you would ba able to attach the Tiffen 52mm 0.6 Neutral Density Filter and the Tiffen 52mm 0.9 Neutral Density Filter to the front of the filter. The main issue that may arise from the filter not having coatings would be the chance of obtaining more internal flare or glare from using the filter. However, as such, I would recommend using your lens hood to reduce the occurrence of glare or flare.

The laminate filter is thensubjected to high heat and pressure to fuse it together. Since thecoating is between the two layers of glass it is protected indfinitelyfrom any wear. The outer surfaces of the filter are not coated to myknowledge. You can scratch tho outer glass but not the coating inbetween.
