Q: 1. I connected the HDMI out of my Canon Video camera to the input of the blackmagic pro 4K and I was recording using Edius 6.55 but it record sound only. I am using windows 7 which up to date. Why I am getting sound only?

A: Because these cards are buggy and you're lucky if you can get them to work properly. More often then not, they don't work. Have owned 4, not a single one worked properly.

Q: 2. I need capture card who works with Arena software, this card is compatible?

A: A search of the Arena software requirements did not show restrictions as to cards.

Q: 3. I know a lot of people will probably think this is going backwards, but if, for just plain nostalgic reasons, you wanted to not only capture from analog SD sources like VHS and output back to VHS, could you do that with this card?

A: The Intensity Pro 4K from Blackmagic Design comes with a breakout cable allowing for analog connections such as RCA and S-video, which most VHS players output as well. The Intensity Pro has an HDMI port for outputting to other sources, so an HDMI to S-video converter would be needed if the VHS player does not have HDMI as an input.

Q: 4. If I connect the HDMI output of the Intensity Pro to a computer monitor with HDMI input (not a TV) will video signal display properly? and as good as a TV monitor? If so, are there any technical specs the computer monitor must have in order to properly display video signal?

A: Yes. If your monitor has HDMI input it will display in FullHD display with a resolution of 1920x1080 using the Intensity Pro 4k. Even better - use a Ultra HD 4K PC display, which has a native resolution of 3840x2160.Either way it will work quite well.

A: you were right , when i purchased this card , it was desapointment , it has a very loud sound . but blackmagic already fix that problem with the new firware . now works perfect to me
