This is a great product! I received a sample to try out and my son and I love it. He loves to play with it and see how far out he can see animals. It's great for all ages to us and very simple to use. I would recommend this to anyone to buy and would be a great gift idea!

This Monocular is so cool. I thought I would mainly use it for bird watching (which it is great for). The fact that it is a camera and video recorder too is icing on the cake. I absolutely love it. Whether observing nature or getting close-ups at the kids games this unit is terrific!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is so great to bring with you on hiking trips. We recently went to Vancouver/Whistler Canada and brought this on our hike and used it to see a bald eagle in the distance. It zooms really well and is lightweight.

This is a great little device at the right price for keeping track of what birds I see in a year. I like to hike and run for exercise and one of my favorite hobbies is birding. This little device is great because it is inexpensive, easy to use, and allows me to document and evaluate what I've seen when I return so I don't have to spend as much time ID birds in the field. I thought the jump in zoom from 100-400-800 would be awkward but it actually works great. Take excellent video and stills for the size and cost. I also use many of Canon's higher end photo/video cameras (Canon 5d Mark iii, 90D, R6) and, of course, those produce far, far better results. But I'm not likely to go on a 3 mile run and lug around my R6 and a RF 100-500mm. This little device fits in my Osprey lumbar running pack (in fact, I find I just keep it in the palm of my hand most times). I received this digital monoculture sample for free. I was able to use it on several occasions. The pictures and video recording is incredibly good. The size fits perfectly in my palm and in my pocket. Recommend for bird watchers and for that quick zoom shot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the Canon Zoom Digital Monocular!!!! It has great zoom!!! I love sitting on my porch watching birds thru it!!! The functions on this device is a little frustrating you have to go thru all functions to get where you want to go and it takes some time to get to were you want to be. I am still trying to get used to all the buttons on the device. I love the fact i can be looking for birds and take that perfect picture at the same time!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We thought we would try this out for our middle schooler’s bird watching project for school, and found this little digital monocular to be a great surprise! It’s compact, easy to carry and super lightweight. It zoomed in perfectly for what we needed, and the picture quality was great. It’s been fun to take along and use while on hikes and we even used it while at Disney on Ice! Some Pros that we were excited about was that it had a charger and SD card enclosed. Plus the image stabilization was nice to have. Kid friendly was such a big plus! It’s even fun to let someone else see what you see on their smartphone! I would say getting use to the menu and the app to sync the photos up to your phone took us a little bit to figure out, but it was manageable. We love our Canon Products!
