No one camera is perfect, but I bought this camera last year, and have been using it at my church for live streaming. It is great, especially, close work in my office when a broadcast on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am not a pro at this, but this camera has allowed me to start. I would like to upgrade, but it is not because this camera is bad. Great camera, many features and easy to begin with.

I ordered this camera for a client to be used as a webcam. The 150 degree field of view was great for capturing 6 people in one living room and the stereo microphones set to meeting mode were great for picking up low voices and compressing louder, closer voices.

Here's what they don't tell you:
1. I ordered the Zoom BCQ battery pack to extend the battery life of the camera for long meetings. The battery pack connects to the camera via the Micro-USB port on the camera (not a hot-shoe connection). The Micro-USB is the same port that is needed to connect the camera to your computer, so you can only use it for one or the other. Lame.
2. I found out after experimenting that when the camera is used as a webcam via the Micro-USB port, the USB 2.0 port on your computer provides enough voltage to power the camera. No batteries needed! That would have been great to know before buying the battery pack and rechargeable batteries to go with it. At least they were returnable.

Overall, it is a great camera for broadcasting a living room full of people for a streaming meeting. Just make sure that the room is well lit!
