The gray HPRC 2550 Wheeled Hard Utility Case is useful for carrying all sorts of gear and appeals to a wide range of applications and industries, from photography to law enforcement to nautical uses. Its polypropylene-based TTX01 resin material is lighter than conventional resins without sacrificing strength, durability, and resistance to corrosion. When it's time to go, grab the large top or side handle and carry it or tow it behind you on its wheels by the telescoping handle. Two 2-stage latches compress the lid's O-ring to an IP67 rating for gear protection. This version of the 2550 case is empty, without an insert, for full access to the interior space and a customized storage solution.

A: Yes, you can. It's hard to see, but if you look at the second photo (https://bit.ly/3lPHUPY), right by the latch, you can see a hole meant for locks to go through.

Q: 6. Does the HPRC4800 case fit an iMac 27 5K - current size/spec?

A: Based on the dimensions of the current Apple 27 iMac with Retina 5K Display, B&H # APIMMK48259 which are 25.6 x 20.3 x 8.0 , this case will be compatible.

A: Mine did not.

A: I don't believe so - unless those light stands were very small. Even then it would be tight.

Q: 9. Does the lid hinge open? is there a 3d model available.

A: The lid hinge will only open on the side of the latches. Unfortunately, we do not have a 360 view available of the HPRC 4700WE.

Q: 10. Could you fit 2 tripods in this case measuring roughly 35" x 8" each?

Previously I used lots of Pelican cases but I bought a piece of gear that came with an HPRC case and I've really liked it. The latches are easier to open and close than Pelican cases. They're also a good value. 5

I have yet to put this case through its paces but for the limited time i have used it it's been great. Its the perfect size and the second skin insert really does a great job. Pros: Solid Construction Large Wheels Multiple Handles Cons: Limited second skin configuration options, I would have like a couple more insert sizes 5

Love this brand of case, but this size (the biggest they list as carry on compatible) is just to small for any of my needs especially when you eat up all the needed space for the cubbed foam to do its job. I went with the 2600 and got trkpak dividers, the difference is huge in how much space you have. The 2600 would still fit in overheard (its still smaller then my actual travel luggage. Either way I'd get trekpak dividers for either they are sublime compared to your other options and cost the same as other padded divider options. 5

This case holds our Camera, media, and batteries. Large enough to store a good amount of gear and small enough to travel light. I have had other cases from HPRC and they hold up great in everyday use. If I had to find an issue with the 2550 it would be that the plastic SEEMS to be flimsy on the top because of a small amount of flexibility. So far no issues have risen from this though. 5

I've been using Pelican cases for 4 years from school but when I saw and tried HPRC 2550W, I decided to buy this one. What is better than Pelican cases? 1. The handle is way better than Pelican cases. HPRC improved their handles since the previous version was akward to use. Pelican cases have duability issue with their handles because it has to be bent to release it and lock it. It's a plastic part so it might gonna break or bent in future while you dont need to worry about it with HPRC and it is much easy to handle it. 2. Wheels are bigger. Newely designed wheels are much bigger and better unlike Pelican cases. Although it is not a modular part, you can still replace it easily. 3. It is much cheaper than Pelican cases. If you wanna get similar a case like HPRC 2550W, it would be Pelican 1535 Air. However, it is much expansive and it still have problems with wheels and handle. There arent any differences between Pelican and HPRC in duability. There are few things that I dont like about this case. 1. The locking mechanism is quite poor. Pelican cases are much better with this part. So easy to open each locks. 2. The lock hole is made of plastic while Pelican is made of both plastic and metal. 3. I feel that Pelican dividers are more innovative and better. Overall, Im very satisfied with HPRC 2550W case. 5

Pelican 1510 can't fit 3 Elektron boxes like the HPRC 2550w can. It works. I checked the clearance without the foam in the lid and it is 8mm in the middle. HPRC 2550w is the only case that works for this purpose. No need to gamble trying to carry on an oversized case. The flight that makes you check it underneath might be the flight that loses it. Not worth it. 5

I'm impressed with this case. You can customize the foam panel on the inside to fit your equipment by removing pieces from the large brick. The case overall is large enough for several lenses and bodies. It's a bit heavy but easy to wheel around. 5

I do really like this brand of cases, but this one is pretty small, so just measure multiple times and picking something thats got a lot of extra space then what you need. 5
