Applied Acoustics Systems Masala 2 is a sound pack powered by String Studio VS-3. It is designed to enhance your productions with an exciting palette of hot, tangy, and uncommon sounds from around the globe and beyond. Expertly concocted by French musician and sound designer Christian Laffitte, the sound pack offers an adventurous mélange of sonic tastes and flavors, with 100 versatile presets that include plucked strings, synths, percussions, arpeggiators, textures, effects, and more.

Masala 2 can be played with the included AAS Player or played and edited with the String Studio VS-3 synthesizer (available separately). The software runs on Mac and Windows computers and is compatible with virtually all DAWs. It can be used as a standalone or as a plug-in with VST, VST3, RTAS, and AAX Native support for Mac and Windows, and additional AU support for Mac OS X. It is also NKS-ready.

A: Heil Proset 3 headphones feature a phase reverse switch. When switched to the OUT position, the polarity will be reversed, providing the listener with a different perceived positioning of sound in their head. This is very helpful to prevent hearing fatigue, during long recording or mixing sessions.

A: The Heil Sound PL2T Overhead Studio and Broadcast Boom Mount will work with the SE X1's shockmount provided you have a 5/8"-27 threaded opening. Manufacturer's often include a couple of adapters for interchangeability, but if you happen to not have the right size, you can still use the Broadcast Boom arm by getting the Auray AD-5838-B 5/8"-27 Female to 3/8"-16 adapter.
