The DOFTec 640C Multicolor RGBWW Soft LED Three-Light Kit is a light setup that's great in the studio and just as handy with battery power on the road. The kit includes three Multicolor 640C RGBWW Soft LED lights, each with barndoors and a light stand. A kit case is included for storage and transport.

Q: 1. Does this work on standard global 220-250V AC current, i.e. outside of North America? The specs say 100-200V, which just sounds weird. Has anybody tried?

A: Yes it has Global voltage and will work with 220-250V AC

Q: 2. How long do the batteries last?

A: I have yet to have the batteries run out on me during a shoot. I turn it off when I'm not using it, so I don't know the exact hours of use, and I charge it when I get home. However, I use the brick battery and the standard batteries at the same time. I find when I use just one power source I get a flicker on my DSLR camera, but when I use both power sources there's no flicker.

Q: 4. Does it come with a A/C power cord compatable w/ 110V AC?

A: There is no DC power cable with the purchase. That is an option that must be purchased separately

Q: 6. What's the latest on the external dongle for WiFi control? What is the best way to operate wirelessly with full controls?

A: Currently this is the only wireless dongle that Rayzr has released: BH#: RARTX1

A: Not sure. Maybe tape a piece of diffuser paper in front

A: The light is equipped with WiFi, but needs an external dongle to operate. That item is coming from Rayzr, but has not been released yet.

Q: 9. What is the quality of this product. Is it durable, and, has there been any failuressoon after buying?Compared to similar units of the same price range, do you recommend, or do you have something better to suggest.I need a unit that is durable and has a throw of about 20 feet+I checked out this company, and so far, well, I am not convinced...Any help.If I have issues, I would have to ship back from Canada.

A: I use it at a range of 10-12 ft more or less and works fine. I feel that 20 Ft is pushing it.Used it only twice since I bought it.(Dec.2014) and works fine.
