Compatible with both thermal and inkjet printers, this 24" x 40' roll of Water-Resistant Scrim Banner from Kodak will satisfy many large format printers looking for a durable materials with a bright white point. Made from a tear-resistant polyester fabric embedded between two white vinyl layers, this banner will last in demanding locations, and it has a heft with a basis weight of 450 gsm and a thickness of 16 mil. Also, for display work it has a rated opacity of 95% and an excellent whiteness of 130%. Additionally, the water resistant banner comes on a 2" core.

A: This product has a basis weight of 450gsm. The T790 is made to fit up to 328gsm. Hope this helps!

A: Yes we use it and have had nothing but great results.

Q: 7. Can the Canon iPF770 print on this medium? If so, how water resistant would this be?

Q: 8. Will this work with the canon ipf670?

A: Shouldn't be a problem. I have never used that particular Canon printer but a colleague has one and prints outdoor scrim banners regularly with no issues.

Q: 9. Will it work with TM300 canon

A: Yes, one can print on the Kodak Water-Resistant Scrim Banner (36" x 40' Roll) with the Canon imagePROGRAF TM-300 36" Large-Format Inkjet Printer.

Q: 10. Can you use this with canon ipf670

A: Steven - you should be able to use it. We run an IPF printer (6350) which uses the same ink system. The only thing I would check is if your model has a media selection for scrim. If not, make sure you update your media options using canon's media manager update and you should be just fine.

I am very happy with this product. The price and the quality are superb. The vinyl is thick, durable and has a 95-97% bright white matte coating so that it works flawlessly with an inkjet printer. I printed a 13x43 banner using an Epson R1900 and the color quality was the same as printing on Epson Matte Paper. Suggestions for Use: - If you are planning on using this product outdoors be sure to spray it with a UV laminate spray or clear coat before hand. It is durable. . .but not that durable. - If your printer has a gloss cartridge. Run the vinyl through on a matte setting (no gloss) then run it though again, using a blank document with the gloss turned on this time. That way you can coat what you previously printed to give it a little more durability. 5

Used Epson Stylus Pro 9890 Setup profile for this material. Printed clean, no smudges, and dried instantly. Within 24 hours it was outside in the rain, and no ink running. 5
