Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. This isn't adjustable height?

A: No, the height is Not adjustable on this stool.

Q: 2. How many heights does it adjust to, just high or low or more?

A: Its only safely designed for one height.

Q: 3. What's the maximum weight

A: Max weight is 550lbs. Traveled with it in Ireland for 2 weeks with substantial use by someone who is 400 lbs. Never felt that it stressed the limit. Felt very secure. There are only two heights - 18in and 30 in, so if 30 in is at the top of your seating range, go with one size down - it will be more comfortable.

Q: 4. I guess the height is not adjustable, right?

A: There are 2 height positions on this Walkstool Comfort 45 Large Folding Stool.

Q: 5. How many different heights can it adjust to?

A: only one height 30 inches. I returned the one I bought because it was to high. I then purchased the small one 45L and I am very happy with my purchase. I am 6 ft tall the 45L in 18 inch high great for a stool. It is easy to carry and very sturdy.

Q: 6. I am 5:5 inches tall. Is this stoll high for me? I want to make sure my feet touch the ground. Please help?

A: The seat can adjust from a height of 15 to 22"

Q: 7. As a photographer with bad knees I need something that I can use rather than getting down on my knees, is this something that would work? 6 foot 235 ?

A: It would be a great help. Just keep in mind its collapsible, so motion would not be ideal for use.

Q: 8. What are the legs made of?

A: The legs would be made of Aluminum. They are very sturdy but also light.

Q: 9. I am 5:6 inches tall. Is this the right size for me? I am not a big guy. Is the seat too small? Thanks.

A: The seat hight is adjustable from 11" to 18" and could support 440 lbs.

Q: 10. I tried one with the legs not extended. It’s a rocking chair! How do you get it it sit level on flat ground( like, in a basketball gym?)

A: With the legs collapsed, you have a one-legged stool. It requires your legs to complete the "tripod". This is a very active sitting position and with practice it can be stable. It reminds me of the milking stool my grandfather used. It's IMO meant to be for mobile situations (e.g. get up quickly and go, change positions) and for me it is a athletic challenge, but doable - however only when in the woods shooting photos. I'm not sure I want any witnesses to my getting out of the low position. I have the 18" stool. I'm 6' tall and weigh over 200 pounds. If you are buying a stool for a spectator application, then IMO you would want one that is comfortable in the high position. That position offers more stability against being jostled and your legs are readily available to help you recover. Depending on the stool selected, if you bum is below your knees, then you will want to extend your legs for stability. The wrong choice could be a challenge on flexibility.

Not sure there is anything more that I can say that already been written. With aging knees, arthritis, this folding stool is everything I could ask for. It's light weight, folds down and fits in my Mindshift camera pack outer pocket, has a very nice seat, and best of all holds up to 450 lbs (solid and well designed). I picked the model 45 based on it being about the same height as our dinning chairs, should be about right for photography work. Looking forward to take it out for the sunrise/sunset photo days knowing I have a place to set and wait in comfort.

This is a sturdy lit’l stool nicely capable of folding up to a tidy size that straps onto my camera bag. Small enough that it’ll fit into my bag when not chock-o-block full...

i’ll use this for camping and work, also purchased the add-on feet-strap base that spans between the feet to prevent too much dig-in when on soft environments...

The company is one of those creative types, that’s utilized good high quality, correct, light-weight material.

Their website is clean, with spare parts are available including seat, center piece, spring and feet. (which is exceptional)

i will use this little tool, and see how she wears in time. overall first impression is good value for the price.

This stool is very light and easy to carry around. As a field technician, it is nice and comfortable to sit on while troubleshooting a piece of equipment. Wish I would have had it sooner.

Easy to use basic stool. Its lightweight and simple to use. Comes with easy carrying bag to loop over your shoulder, or just strap it to your camera pack with your tripod. This stool sure beats standing and waiting for that great shot.

I have a serious disease that limits my ability to walk. I've been shooting for decades and was quite bummed when I could no longer go on a one day shooting walkabout.
Two things have helped greatly. The first is a fat tire Ebike that lets me hit trails and ride without too much duress.
The second is this great stool. It's so comfortable, lightweight and sturdy. I can open it in seconds and sit down to compose the shot.
For me this thing is a life changer. It saves enough of my strength to let me keep going for hours longer. It'll be with me on every outdoor shoot.
I highly recommend this product for anyone with health issues that restrict their photographic practices and also for anyone who simply wants a great portable stool.

Very lightweight and easy to carry. Legs extend and retract easily and it it sturdy as long as the ground is solid. I did use it recently on the beach and it worked pretty good at the edge of the water although the sand was washing out. Overall a handy thing to have. Looking forward to using it more.
