A: Anton Bauer can not guarantee results with any other brand V mount batteries. Most V-Mount batteries have firmware that communicates with their respective chargers to maintain the health of the battery. When you mix and match brands the battery firmware is not able to communicate with the charger because they are made by 2 different companies. This may prevent the battery from charging, or prompt the battery to stop charging prematurely, or it might not affect the battery at all. For the best and most consistent results we recommend using batteries and chargers from the same manufacturer.
