Q: 1. How to find this MAC address

A: The address of Dante devices such as the Audinate Dante AVIO 1-Channel XLR Analog Output Adapter for Dante Audio Network can many times be found on the physical unit itself. Alternatively, the device and address could also be located in the Dane Controller. The article linked here provides further insight: https://bit.ly/3hr4rSI

Q: 4. Will this adapter work with analog microphones and supply phantom?

A: No, the Audinate Dante AVIO 2-Channel Analog Input Adapter for Dante Audio Network will not accept a microphone signal or supply phantom power. This adapter will integrate analog line level signals into a Dante Audio Network.

Q: 6. Would this be the correct adapter to add an intercom system to my Dante Network? I'm looking to integrate a Clear-Comm FSII Base

A: No, the Audinate Dante AVIO 2-Channel XLR Analog Output Adapter for Dante Audio Network would not be the correct adapter to use with your Clear-Comm FSII Base; it would work for output only. Instead, I would recommend using one B&H # AUADPDAOAU1 for output from the Dante system to the program input on your intercom base, and one B&H # AUADPDAIAU1 for the stage announce output of your intercom base into the Dante network.

Q: 7. Can you recommend a PoE injector to use with this adapter?

A: The Audinate Dante AVIO 1-Channel Analog Input Adapter for Dante Audio Network (BH # AUADPDAIAU1) may be powered by the TP-Link TL-POE150S Power Over Ethernet Injector B&H # TPTLPOE150S: https://bhpho.to/3NQ8lon.

Q: 8. if I have an output and input adapter do I still need some type of Dante management software for them to work or does it just work automatically?

A: The Audinate Dante AVIO 1-Channel XLR Analog Input and Output Adapters for Dante Audio Network provide plug and play operation. A common PoE (Power over Ethernet) switch is required and the Dante Avio adapters are compatible with Dante Domain Manager software for IT-level security and management. Dante Controller software can be used on any connected Windows or Mac computer in order to adjust audio controls for the Dante AVIO adapters. The software options can be used if desired, but it is not required for the adapters to function.
