A: If connecting your phone, you can connect wirelessly by adding the wireless module or you will connect the the osmo pocket directly to your smartphone via lightning to USB-C cable. When using this extension rod, you will not have access to use a microphone input.

A: It is standard, universal thread for 15mm rods.

Q: 4. Will this work with the Pocket 2?

A: Yes. The DJI Osmo Pocket Extension Rod will work for the DJI Pocket 2.

A: Unfortunately no. When using the DJI Extension Rod for Pocket 2 and Osmo Pocket, the phone clamp will not support portrait orientation.

A: The female tread size on the PolarPro Extension Rods is 10mm.

Q: 9. Will it mount a DJI Action 2 or does that have a different sized magnetic mount?

A: The DJI Osmo Action Mini Extension Rod is for the DJI Osmo Action 3 and Action 4. It is not listed for the DJI Action 2.

Q: 10. I assume it will work with the Pocket 2 with the do-it-all handle. Can someone confirm?

Light weight aluminum rod, about 5/8-inch diameter (16mm), that can be joined together in series to create a longer rod. I have several of these, they serve many different purposes. They aren't heavy duty (and thus they are light in weight), which is perfect for my needs, holding various objects on set without adding heft or bulk to my grip kit. In comparison to Matthews MICROgrip Rods, these can be secured in any receptacle or mount that accepts a 5/8-inch stud (16mm), whereas Matthews MICROgrip uses a smaller diameter. Both products are good tools, serving different purposes. 5

Since COVID we are streaming to YouTube but the camera was very near the ceiling and always had the ceiling lights in view and washing out the front of the room. By adding the extender we got rid of looking at ceiling lights and the washout. 5

I am not aware of any other product that accomplishes plant stabilization. If not the wind, many flowers will tremble, making if difficult to get a clean macro shot. The clamp is well designed. I have used one of these in this years spring flower photography and decided to purchase another one. Extends the reach of other Wimberley products 5

I should have bought the extension rod when I purchased the Pocket 2 about six months ago. The extension rod is great. It is easy to use , and you can extend it to get above crowds and to show a perspective that you don't normally see. It is at a great price. If you have the Pocket 2, you need to get the extension rod. 5
