Got it for photography editing/storage. It's delivers fast read write as stated. Other reviews mentioning that it's slower probably do not have the correct USB specs required USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 (USB Type-C), I/O speeds is dependent on the source and destination hardware, not just the drive. 5
