Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does an Ikan Lyra 1x1 Fit in this case?

A: This case was designed specifically for the AEOS light.

Q: 2. What is needed to trigger this light and use it as a HSS flash (for Canon and Sony)?

A: EOS will work with any HSS trigger/receiver combo with either a PC sync port or 3.5mm flash sync port on the receiver. The only thing that matters is that it is high speed sync capable trigger/receiver (HSS), that your camera is capable of HSS (not all are - particularly Fuji's) and that the receiver has a PC sync port or 3.5mm flash sync port, so you can connect it to AEOS, which has a 3.5mm mini jack flash sync port. You can also just use a wired PC sync cable to 3.5mm mono jack cable (for AEOS) for a much cheaper option if desired. We have tested and would specifically recommend:Pixel King PRO (This is the best price option) and you can buy as a set of 2 (one can be transmitter, one the receiver) For Sony (King PRO S) For Canon : Pixel King PRO XFor Nikon : Pixel King PRO XOther options we like :1. Phottix ODIN II (Canon/ Nikon) Or2. Sony HSS transmitter/ receiver Jason Lanier uses this but it is pretty pricey so option 1 is a better bet. Trigger:Sony FA-WRC1MReceiver: Sony FA-WRR13. Wired PC sync cable The vastly cheaper option (although obviously a little less flexible than wireless triggers) is to buy a PC sync cable, IF your camera has a PC sync port on it. Not all of them do, but if it does then you can just use a long PC sync cableThanks let me know if you have any other questions!

Q: 3. Can the Rotolight AEOS II (!) be triggered by the Godox XPro S - in HSS mode ? (And if yes; than only with an additional receiver - bypasssing the built-in Elinchrom skyport of the AEOS version II ?)

A: Correct the AEOS can be triggered by the godox with the receiver.

Q: 4. What would be the maximum shutter speed when shooting in Hypersync with Sony and Canon ?

A: It would depend on the maximum mechanical shutter speed of your camera. While the Rotolight does not use HyperSync technology (which is only used by PocketWizard's FlexTT5/FlexTT6 and MiniTT1 radio remotes), it is compatible with High Speed Sync (HSS) when using a camera and radio transmitter/receiver that is also High Speed Sync-compatible. Rotolight lists on page 10 of the Rotolight AEOS instruction manual that they recommend HSS triggers such as the Cactus VI II, the PocketWizard FlexTT5 and FlexTT6, both which have models compatible with Canon cameras, and the Phottix ODIN II, which has models compatible for both Canon and Sony cameras. With these radio triggers and their compatible receivers/transceivers, you would be able to shoot to the camera's maximum mechanical shutter speed, which on most higher-end cameras is 1/8000th of a second.

A: As per Rotolight, 2 Anova Pro units can be stored in this case.

Q: 6. What are the interior and exterior dimensions of this case?

A: The external dimensions are: H 5.8 x w 5.6 x D 22 Internal are: H 5.2 x w 5. 48 x D 18

Q: 7. Are these AEOS v2 lights or the v1?

A: These are the most current version of the AEOS fixtures.

Q: 8. How long will one V-mount 98Wh battery last with light at full power? Please let me know ASAP. thx

A: 3 hrs.

Q: 9. There is no inside image. Is there padding on the inside of this bag to protect lights from damage when transporting?

A: Yes it is padded.

Q: 10. Can these bar doors fit on a Rotolight Pro ?

A: no you will need the RL ANOVA-2-BD
