Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this case acceptable for travelling internationally? Airline got 50lbs limit for check-in baggage.

A: It is accepted, but because it weighs 11 pounds, you only get 40 to fit in. I've found I can put a tripod, small light stands, slider and some other misc. stuff and keep it right under 50. A VERY solid case, nothing is going to get dinged when it's in this thing. Length is also fine for the airlines, though I've found sometime it's delivered to oversize luggage.

Q: 2. Could you fit 2 tripods in this case measuring roughly 35" x 8" each?

A: Interior Dimensions 36.4 x 10.6 x 9.6" , if they meat this dimensions

Q: 3. Could this case hold a Manfrotto 525MVB and 3 or 4 light stands?

A: I don't believe so - unless those light stands were very small. Even then it would be tight.

Q: 4. Is there a version of the case that houses the 12-25mm instead of the 14-30?

A: No, there isn't an option currently listed from DZOFilm on a hard case like the DZOFilm Empty Hard Case for Pictor Zoom Lenses (3-Lens) that can house the DZOFilm Pictor 12-25mm T2.8 Super35 Parfocal Zoom Lens (PL/EF, Black).

Q: 5. Does it provide attachments for a shoulder strap?

A: Mine did not.

Q: 6. Can you send a photo of the interior of the lens case or describe better then what is on web site 3 pictures of hard case empty but none of interior lens case

A: As this is a kit we did not included all the photos. But I have attached a link to each case separately and those would have more photos including the interior. https://bhpho.to/30rpsod https://bhpho.to/33o5Wej

Q: 7. Is the foam removable? (considering that the foamed version is frequently less expensive the empty version.)

A: You can remove the foam.

Q: 8. Can I padlock this case. I cannot tell from the pictures if there are secure holes for a padlock ?

A: Yes, you can. It's hard to see, but if you look at the second photo (https://bit.ly/3lPHUPY), right by the latch, you can see a hole meant for locks to go through.

Q: 9. Curious whether this case will work with the now discontinued Sachtler System Cine DSLR SL MCF tripod (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/766931-REG/Sachtler_0355_System_Cine_DSLR_SL.html)

A: Yes, this HPRC case will fit the Sachtler System Cine DSLR SL MCF tripod.

Q: 10. About how many tripods /light stands can you fit in the case?

A: Specifically it would depend on the dimension of the gear in question. Generally however, it could hold 1-3 tripods/lightstands.
