I dare anyone to find a more valuable package deal for the price. With the features you get in the camera itself to the extra accessories, it's amazing it still all costs less that $2000. I sold my old G85 to upgrade to this and, I'm so glad I did. If you're a video focused artist, I highly recommend this.

We needed a 3rd camera for a shoot that met the specs we required, but was small enough for a mechanical tracking shot. This camera delivered. Battery was very long-lasting and the 4K shot looks amazing.
Could not have worked out better.

This is by far the most underrated mirrorless camera on the market today. When you think about a high-end mirrorless camera you automatically think about Sony, Canon, or Nikon. But Panasonic has proven to be a real player in the game with their S Series of cameras. And the S5 is the complete package. It’s built extremely well, easy to hold, and comfortable while shooting, and combined with that the menu system is easy to navigate which makes the S5 extremely easy to shoot with.

I initially was sold on the GH5 or GH5s but as I continued my research I realized that I wanted a camera with a full-frame sensor with the ability to shoot with micro 4/3’s as needed too. I also wanted a camera that could take stunning photos and the S5 had that advantage over the GH5 too. Plus they were nearly identical in price.

The photo and video quality is stunning as well. I’m a small YouTuber and I film in v-log and color grade in Final Cut Pro X and I am floored with how the final product looks.

If you’re trying to decide between this camera and the Sony A7 III or the GH5, the S5 will more than satisfy your needs in every situation. It’s one of the best in the market and by far the most underrated camera today. Go ahead and pair it with the Sigma DC DN 30mm f/1.4 lens (L mount - just Google for it) like I have and I promise you that you’ll own the market and dominate your portfolio in every shot, every time - I guarantee it. You won’t be disappointed by this incredible camera.

I absolutely love the ergonomics and image quality you get with this camera. I use it primarily for stills and it does not disappoint. My one negative is that animal detection does not mean animal ete tracking AF, I felt a bit misled by that.

This is my first time Lumix camera. it's fantastic to use and great picture look for me. Slow motion is great. Love the C1, C2 and C3, save settings and just switch to a preset and the camera is ready.

It's easily the best camera you can get for Video under 1500$ (under 1200$ if used).
I snagged it a couple of month ago for 1500$ and never been disappointed, the colors are impeccable and the files are easy to work with and color grade.
The ergonomics, build quality and even the menu are built to the highest standards.
The only drawback for me is the micro hdmi as i use it a lot with the dji ronin rs2, but it's easily fixable if you get a 15$ cable clamp from and if you already run a cage .
And you may also consider the not so perfect autofocus, but it never let me as i don't rely on it much.

So for 1200$ used (from B&H) i think that its easily the best video camera , and it even rivals cameras 3 it's price .
You won't regret it.

Has all the creature features of Panasonic, and is full frame! Coming from a gh5 it's like a different world (in a good way) but also really familiar.

The only thing is I wished it had more native glass options for l mount

I am absolutely in love with this camera. The specs and capabilities for the price are unmatched compared to its' competitors. A lot of people were concerned about the continuous autofocus, but the firmware update fixed that. There are no complaints on my end about this product. It produces beautiful photos and videos! I'm a film student graduating soon and this is the perfect camera for me to have invested in. The lens is great too!

I am new to photography and wanted to purchase a higher end camera so that I wouldn't wind up upgrading to a newer camera after I get past my learning curve. This camera so far, even with taking photos in auto mode is incredible. As well, I ventured into taking a video and the clarity was unbelievable. I look forward to learning this camera and tapping into my visual creative side with wonderful results.

The perfect camera, i just miss the 4K 60fps without crop for my cinema full frame lenses but the quality is perfect, i love the Lumix power.
