This additional accessory was the reason I finally made the decision to purchase the 28 Apollo. I waited and they answered! I am a Professional Photographer who likes to travel light yet have all the tools I need to create my visions on location. I use several Westcott umbrellas and now I have the Apollo 28 and this amazing grid to add to my arsenal. This product is durable, easy to install, attaches with a thick velcro surface and packs in it's own bag. The 40 Degree Grid does a fantastic job narrowing the light and preventing spill where you don't want it. I can't wait to purchase the 50 Apollo and Grid accessory as well. This grid works fantastically as a way to focus the light from the 43 Westcott Orb. I love using the grid to focus the light on hair. Wonderful results! 5

I use it when I want to narrow the degree of light on a subject (typically men and/or women with narrow, defined faces). Comes on and off with ease. little fussy at the corners until you get the hang of it and the carrying case's opening is a bit narrow. 5

I use the 43 Orb and Grid in a studio shooting still life and Models. I like the dramatic affects I get when I manipulate the light around my subject and background, I am happy I purchased the Ord and the grid and also a beauty dish to top it all off. I use a PhotoFlex 650 Mono light along with a couple of Canon 580EXII speedlites, some Pocket Wizard III's firing from a Canon 5D Mk 3. Great buy! John I 5

The 40 degree grid gives me great light control for the Apollo strip. This attaches easily to the strip box, and folds down nicely to fit into the included storage bag. 5

This just makes the Apollo softboxes much more useful. Nothing unusual, just a typical grid, seems well made. It comes with a storage bag. 5
