The Ronin BG30 Grip is compatible with the DJI RS 2 and RS 3 Pro gimbals. It's the same grip that comes included with these gimbals. The BG30 features an integrated battery that powers the gimbal for up to 12 hours. Via a USB Type-C charging port, the integrated battery can be recharged from 0 to 80% in approximately one hour. When using a fast charger, it can be fully charged in 1.5 hours. The BG30 supports fast charging protocols 24W PD and QC2.0, and the battery can be charged even when removed from the gimbal.

This was bought as a backup grip/battery for the Ronin RS 2 combo. The combo already includes this item. I suggest always having a second battery as a safety net. The chances are slim that I would even use the first batteries power on a single day because they are rated for up to 12 hours of power usage. That's a loaded battery! 5

These battery grips literally put the power in your hands to work all day without swapping batteries often. These things are phenomenal. I’d recommend getting one extra to have on standby. The price is just right for what you get out of it. 5

After the first few shoots with my RS2, I started noticing that by the end of the day the battery was 10-20% and I realized this is not a factor I want to stress about for longer days. I'd rather just have a backup and I'm glad I do now. Works perfectly just as the one that came with my RS2. 5

Work perfect. I buy it the second battery and was perfect because for long day shooting more than 4 hours if you have one will be dead at 3 or 4 hours of use. Example this weekend in a wedding all day the second battery safe my day 5
