The 100mm ball Arrowx 3 2520 Solo-Q 100 3-Stage Tripod System from Miller combines the Arrowx 3 video fluid head with the carbon fiber Solo-Q carbon fiber tripod. Perfect for fast-paced ENG and documentary production, this system offers stable, rigid support for camera rigs weighing from 2.2 to 41.9 lb. This versatile payload capacity and a height range of 15.4 to 80.4" makes this system compatible with a wide range of cameras and lenses, negating the need to bring two tripods on your shoot to accommodate smaller and larger cameras.

The Arrowx 3 head features the 16-step CB Plus counterbalance system, with full and half stops, a sliding balance plate, centrally located controls and illuminated bubble level, and five steps of fluid pan and drag plus a zero setting for free spins and safe transport or storage. The 3-stage tripod features carbon fiber construction, quick-lock legs, and three leg positions with a safety lock feature, eliminating the need for a spreader.

Q: 1. Will the Manfrotto 504HD head fit on this tripod? https://a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/683559-REG/Manfrotto_504HD_504HD_Fluid_Video_Head.html target= _blank www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/683559-REG/Manfrotto_504HD_504HD_Fluid_Video_Head.html/aDo I need any adapters?

A: It should fit, I used it with Manfrotto 502 and 516 fluid head. This is one of the best designed tripods I've ever used. One lever controls both leg extensions at the same time. Very quick setup.

Q: 2. Does this tripod come with a bag?

A: It doesn't but its worth the price.

Q: 3. Do the legs slide out on their own or do you have to pull them out?

A: How many turns does it take to go from tight to loose enough for leg slide? Thanx!

Q: 4. Can I ship immediately if I place an order?

A: As of the time of this posting, December 3rd 2018, this product is in stock and ready to ship.

Q: 5. Please let me know which Miller tripod case comes with this tripod Miller Air Carbon Fiber Tripod System B&H # MI3005 MFR # 3005I don't see a link. Also, on Miller Sticks I have a Sachtler DV6 head. I measured about 33 from the head to the feet. I'm guessing a 35 tripod case would be fine. That's why I would like ton know which Miller tripod case this is? I have the same Miller Sticks as I mentioned above. Thank you Jimmy

A: For future reference, please look under the Accessories tab for Bags & Cases. Of the seven we offer, I would suggest these based on economy to best choice to luxury. For budget: Ruggard Deluxe Padded 35 Tripod Case (Black) B&H # RUBD3035. For rugged airplane travel: SKB Roto-Molded Tripod Case with Wheels (37 Tall) B&H # SK1SKBR3709W For luxury: Porta Brace TLQB-39XT Quick Tripod/Light Case (Black) B&H # POTLQB39XT.

Q: 6. Does the new Manfrotto 2 in 1 spreader fit with these legs? Ikan does not have a telescopic spreader and the ground spreader is too much of a hassle.

A: It does not. The Manfrotto 2 in 1 Tripod Spreader, BH #MAMVASPR2N1, is only compatible with the Manfrotto 645 FTT and 635 FST series tripods.

Q: 7. it says it has an 88LB capacity, but amazon has it rated for 9LBS?

A: Hello,My manager sat on the bowl, and he weighs probably about 120 lb. Amazon is quite wrong, or may be referencing the recommended payload of a kit, which bases max load off of the head. Recommended payload is 88 lb., but it can physically exceed that, though it won't be working optimally and runs the risk of a slip or collapse.

Q: 8. It says with 75mm ball but see the ball nowhere in any of the photos of descriptions. Rather it says 75mm bowl. Does this version come with a ball?

A: This product doesn't include a tripod head. You can get the same version with the head.

Q: 9. can i screw and manfrotto 502 head on this?

A: If the head comes with 75mm half-ball, then yes you can. Otherwise you would need a 75mm half ball. I'm using Manfrotto 520 and it works fine with a bit of greasing.

Q: 10. Do the legs come out on their own (gravity) or dos the user have to open them manually (pull legs out)? Also, how good and easy are these twist locks? I prefer the clamp style, I fear these will take to long to adjust.

A: No current tripod should have legs that freely move; not only is it awkward, it can be dangerous to your fingers. This tripod has legs that stay in place and you need to move them. Twist or clamp; that is the external question. In the end it is a matter of personal preference. I find that pros tend to go with the twist. Today's twist locks are very quick, usually 1/2 turn or so and are not significantly slower than clamp locks. I also find that clamp levers get caught on every strap within a 10' radius. Miller is one of the high quality brands so you will find working with any of their products a pleasure.
