A: The previous answer is incorrect. I was able to remove the orange rubber material and also remove the external cover abs successfully replace the 2TB NVme with a “Sabrent Rocket Q 8TB NVMe PCIe M.2 2280 Internal SSD High Performance Solid State Drive R/W 3300/2900MB/s (SB-RKTQ-8TB)”. Sadly it cost $1,399.99 but it works. I now used the extra 2TB NVme on my PS5.
