I bought this battery for my new Atomos V. I have 3 batteries from my old Atomos plus 2 more from an on camera light so I thought those were enough. I was wrong! I had to change batteries almost every 15 minutes, honestly they are old batteries. With the NP-F970 I went 4 days of shooting and the battery lasted all day. I charged every night. It’s heavy and it's bulky but lasts a lot 5

You get what you pay for. I have purchased no name versions with the same mah rating in the past for half the price but after a few charges their run time dropped in half. These Sony batteries wont let you down. 5

The battery is great and the dual charger came with several adapter cords. I don't regret paying more for the Sony batteries as I see them as a longer-term investment. 5

No one likes to pay $125.99 for a battery for anything. My car battery didn't cost that much, BUT it does the job and is long lasting enough that I don't have to worry about the "juice" running out when we do a four hour+ videography job. I'm using it on my new Rode TX-XLR transmitter and Sennheiser MD-46 reporter's microphone. I've only used it on one job so far, but know it will perform well in the future now that I've tried it even one time. I read the other reviews before buying that were very helpful in making the decision to purchase it. 5

I've used this type of battery since I bought a Sony Mini-DV TRV-900. That's around 21 years of unfailing performance...until recently when one of my 6 batteries finally threw in the towel. Promptly replaced it with a brand new one. Love these batteries! I have 3 originals that are also 21 years old and 2 others that are 2 years old. Can always count on B&H to carry what I need! 5
