Designed for professionals, photographers, and hobbyists, the 28.5L, blue 935 Wheeled Hard Case with Padded Dividers from Nanuk is made from lightweight, crush, dust, and waterproof NK-7 polypropylene resin to protect and store delicate items like laptops, tablets, cameras and lenses, electronics, drones, sample kits, tools, handguns with spare magazines and hearing protection, medical equipment and first aid supplies, and equipment of all sorts. This version of the case comes with a padded insert for its 20.5 x 11.3 x 7.5" interior space and a set of padded dividers that allow you to set up custom organization for all your gear to ensure it won't shift or knock together during transport and handling. To complete the protection the insert includes a convoluted egg crate foam lid insert and a solid foam base layer for the bottom.

You can carry the case by one of the two hinged handles or pull it behind you on its low-profile wheels with the extendable handle. The handle has two stop positions to accommodate users of different sizes. Its gasketed lid is held fast with dual PowerClaw latches. This patented latch system uses compressive force to tightly clamp the case shut to a waterproof and dustproof IP67 rating, with an integrated slide lock that prevents the case from opening during transport or if dropped. For additional security, there are two 0.34" diameter padlock holes integrated into the case and lid. A molded-in bezel system allows the use of optional inserts that can be installed quickly and easily without the need to modify your case. Its built-in pressure relief valve regulates the internal pressure, keeping your gear and the case from getting crushed during air travel and allowing you to open it without having to break a tough pressurized seal.

Q: 8. OK TO CARRY ON AN AIRPLANE?

A: The answer will depend on the specific airline or airplane in which you will be travelling, as many airlines have different rules/requirements concerning the size of carry-on luggage. As such, I recommend contacting your airline directly for their carry-on regulations. That being said, many domestic flights require a case to have a combined linear dimensions of 45 inches or less for carry-on usage. As the dimensions of the Nanuk Protective 935 Case with Dividers are 22 x 14 x 9", the total linear dimensions would be exactly 45 inches. As such, if your airline uses these guidelines, then this would qualify for use as carry-on luggage.

Q: 9. Will it fit d3x batteries. From the pictures, it looks like it will only fit the smaller Nikon batteries

A: Correct the following unit will not accommodate D3X batteries in the drop in only smaller Canon BP and Nikon En-EL batteries.

Q: 10. Does the Nanuk 935 come with foam for the $115 price point?

A: No. There's a separate listing for the case with foam. They also sell the foam separately for $40. I have one empty and one with the precut foam for six handguns. The quality of the cases is top-notch.

Well worth the $$.  I like the features that are not offered by the other major manufacturers.  I use mine for fragile scuba equipment when I travel by air or ground.  Built tough and holds all I need!

I was eyeing this case on amazon and here, however they had a 2 month wait on them over on amazon and B&H had it for $50 cheaper and 2 day shipping! As far as the case, the finish is very high quality, and everything fits nice and tight, no “cheap” feel anywhere. I also went with the lid organizer, which is a huge plus, it even has room for a laptop! Super happy with this, it checks all the boxes, I would say do your research on YouTube and what not, like I did, and the hype on these is real for good reason, I picked this over the pelican counter part. Great great great case.

I don't know if it's just the bright color that makes me like this case so much but it is a great case none the less. Totally solid case. Latches are very strong wheel roll smooth and would feel safe checking this (if I had to).

This case is solid and well made. The fit and finish are excellent. The dividers can be configured to fit whatever gear you have. The latches work easily and hold the lid on tight. The divider assembly lifts out, so one could store a few papers beneath it, as does the foam insert in the lid. I store a copy of my receipt there in case I ever need to invoke the lifetime guarantee. The case weights almost 12 lbs without gear. Fortunately, it rolls well, and the handle to pull it locks at two different heights. Padded carrying handles on the side and the top are comfortable. The top one is spring loaded, and the side one snaps firmly against the case. I bought a third-party lid organizer for batteries, cables, etc. It came with holes that exactly matched the fittings inside the lid. An elastic Nanuk shoulder strap distributes the weight well, but still the case is fairly bulky against one's body. That situation should come into play only if the terrain is too uneven to use it as a wheeled case.

I am a technician. I use mine to carry my work tools. The Nanuk is a bit pricier than the comparable pelican case, but I feel the features are well worth the extra cost. Chief among these are the closure latches and the handles.

I bought this for its carry-on capabilities. I like to have my camera close, but more important, and more often now days, is the smaller aircraft with the smaller overhead bins of which you have to check even the carry-on at the ramp. I want my gear protected if it goes in the belly of the plane. I prefer this one over the more famous competitor for its easy connecting and comfortable (as well as it can be) strap. It has enough room for two bodies with grips, (5D and 6D) batteries, card case, and usually four of my lenses. I stack my lens hoods in one pile around one lens to save space. (most of the time no flash, I lose one lens in that case). My tripods and other gear are usually checked. I have not found anything I don't like about this case. I like how the front handle is inside the dimensions of the case. The wheels are quieter, the extension handle flexes less than its competitor. The padded dividers are the way to go in my case as the contents might change per job or type of travel means. The combination of padded dividers and lock included made it the deal maker for me. Olive? I wanted to be different.
