Bring the optical quality of your daytime riflescope to night hunting with the Hogster-C 42mm Thermal Clip-On (50 Hz) from Bering Optics. Compatible with 2-8x scopes, the Hogster-C will show you hogs and predators that can't be seen with the naked eye due to darkness, dust, smoke, fog, or haze. Detection range is 1000 yards, recognition is 300 yards, and identification is rated at 150 yards. Imagery is shown in your choice of white hot, black hot, or red hot palettes on the 1280 x 960 LCOS display.

You can record your observations using the video-out capability. There's no need to re-zero your scope and the clip-on provides a 9.0 x 6.7° field of view. An electronic compass and accelerometer will aid you in the field and the battery level indicator will keep you apprised of the status of the two CR123A cells that power the unit. The Hogster-C measures 4.5 x 2.4 x 2.3" and weighs 11.1 ounces.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does it come with the pic rail mount and scope adapter mount included in the box?

A: This quick release is needed for mounting to a picatinny rail: https://bhpho.to/3RYeTl4

Q: 2. Is this electrically conductive?

A: No, the StarTech Metal Oxide Thermal Paste is not electrically conductive.

Q: 3. Is this AGM Varmint TS35-384 new, or is it used/refurbished? (Strange question- Doesnt specify. I have been burned before.)

A: Yes, the AGM Varmint LRF TS35-384 Thermal Imaging Riflescope with 35mm Lens (50 Hz) is new. All items are new unless specifically stated otherwise.

Q: 4. Can i mount to 40mm objective or do you need something else

A: No, the AGM Rattler TC19-256 Thermal Imaging Clip-On (50 Hz) does not have an adapter for 40mm objectives. Currently they only have adapters for other sizes.

Q: 5. Does this module have zooming capabilities in either EO or IR? It appears as though that is not a built in feature, but I wanted to double check.

A: Th7e FLIR Hadron RGB/Thermal Camera Module (30 Hz) will not provide zooming capabilities in EO or IR.

Q: 6. Web site says refresh rate 50hz, Manual says 25hz. which is correct?

A: After reviewing the information from AGM the 50hz is the correct refresh rate. My WEB content team has been notified of the error.

Q: 7. How far does the near object has to be from the lens, compared to a +1 diopter ?

A: When the base lens is focused at infinity, the object will be at the focal length of the diopter attachment. For the Lindsey Optics 4 x 5.65" +3 Diopter Brilliant² 50% Rota-Split Close-Up Lens that is 333mm. For the +1 it is 1 Meter. When the base lens focus is changed to shorter distances, the object distance decreases.

Q: 8. Is this the version that goes on a scope? If so does the adapter come w/ it and will it fit 56 and 50mm objective lense?

A: The Leica 840 x 640 Calonox 2 Sight Clip-On Thermal Monocular (60 Hz) can be adapted to a 56mm objective lens using this adapter (https://bhpho.to/3g8WW1s) or a 50mm lens using this adapter (https://bhpho.to/3vO7UAm).

Q: 9. Does the filter fit on redrock 2 stage micro mattebox?

A: Yes it will.

Q: 10. Does this have a focusable objective lens?

A: The AGM ASP TM35-384 Thermal Imaging Monocular (50 Hz) BH #AGASPTM35384 • MFR #3093451006AS31 has a focusing adjustment.
