The Hosa Technology USB 3.0 Type-A to Type-C Male Cable is designed to connect a device with a USB Type-A interface to one with a Type-C interface. It is ideal for charging mobile devices as well as connecting an audio interface, external hard drive, or other computer peripherals to a PC.

Please note that USB 3.0 is synonymous with USB 3.1 Gen 1 or USB 3.2 Gen 1.

I was so sick of buying cables that took hours to charge my phone -_- so I came to B&H and went for this one, and it's amazing for the price. Transfer speeds between PC and phone are amazing, and I can fully charge my phone within the hour WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!! 5

It's a USB cable. What more do you need it to do. It works great to connect things to a computer. I used mine for external hard drives. I lost my original cables and needed new ones. So far a 3' cable is plenty but could be too small depending on your desk size and where the drives are at. 6' covers most any other desk size and is versatile. Anything longer is special case installs and stuff in which case you might be looking at faster data transfer rates. But for general desk HD this works just as I would expect. 5

Just what I needed and I’m grateful to access old data. Who doesn’t have tons of thumb drives sitting around? They are difficult to access unless you have an adapter like this or an old computer. 5
