Nice pc of equipment. Fast and easy on-off, with a 1/4 turn of the hood. No matching up of fine threads to put it on, you can change filters quick and easy also. Reversible so you can leave it on the lens when not in use. 5

A must have for any photographer. Use for swimming and diving meets where the difference is much improved from when I didn't have the hood 5

Simple and easy to use with different lenses. Its plastic design, means you'll need to protect it a little more. Should be standard with Canon camera's. 5

I bought the lens hood in late May 2009 and haven't regretted the purchase. The hood is used on my Canon 55-250mm IS lens. I've not had any problem getting the hood on or off the lens. Oklahoma is very windy, and the hood has stayed in place. The hood also protects my lens filter. The hood adds a classy look to the lens and camera when I'm shooting. 5

Used to shield unwanted direct light. A must for any shots using a telephoto lens. Also can be used on regular lenses to create fish eye photos. Easy reversible attachment to store right on your lense. 5
