This Anton Bauer Battery Bracket for Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K/6K enables using V-mount batteries to power your Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K/6K. It has an integrated 16" long power cable with a 2-pin Wei-Pu power connector. The plate features four mounting holes with mounting screws for attaching the bracket to a mounting plate of your choosing. The bracket also has two D-Tap ports for powering accessories.

The 16" long power cable allows you flexibility in attaching the bracket without leaving an excessive amount of cable to get in the way of production.

Q: 1. I want to buy it. However, I have the Sony A7Sii with Zeiss Prime E mounts lenses. I wanna be able to use my Zeiss E Mount lenses on BMDPCC4K with an adapter without having to spend a lot money on glass again. Is there going be an adapter for the E Mount lens to fit on BMDPCC4K body? Or is someone going to make one for it?

A: nope, flange distances prevent it.

Q: 2. Why can't BMD simply add a S16 4K crop with firmware?? It can't be that hard surely??

A: We will feed this request back to the developers for consideration.

Q: 3. Will this camera support the S16/16mm format?The JVC LS300 has a wonderful Variable Scan Mapping function. This idea would be awesome for the new BMPCC4K! Please consider it!

A: It is possible that this camera will have a Cropped Mode to support Super 16 lenses when it is released or in future firmware updates. However we do not have any details regarding that at this time.

Q: 4. Will the camera ship with an LP-E6 battery charger?

A: No, there is no included charger. You can charge the battery in camera using the USBC cable to a power supply. The camera will charge when connected to USBC power when not recording.

Q: 5. How about the photos? Does this camera shoot? If yes? what is the max resolution of a photo???

A: Micheal @4K DCI that is around 8.5 MP. You can print a clean 8x10 of that @300PPI :)

Q: 6. Hello, great camera. Cant wait to get it. I have a commercial shoot late October and I want to purchase at least 5 of these new cameras. My only concern is that Blackmagic Design has missed every camera release date by a long shot. Can I actually count on this been released on time? According to Blackmagic Design this camera will begin to ship in September. If so Ill put the preorder in now.

A: While we try to meet or exceed shipping dates, there is no guarantee. Often the pre order list exceeds shipping as well.

Q: 7. With a Canon EF adapter and lens, will the BM 4/3 image produce a large vignette?

A: No vignetting with the Metabones XL 0.64x with Full Frame lenses and the Ultra 0.71x if using APS-C/DX lenses. The 0.58x will not cover the full sensor for 4K.

Q: 8. Does it have timecode? Can it be jammed?

A: According to the Blackmagic website the camera can take LTC timecode in through the 3.5mm audio jack.

Q: 9. Will the camera be compatible with LP-E6N type batteries?

A: Yes. No problem.

Q: 10. Will it include a battery with a charger?

A: Yes, one battery is included, the BMD Website will be updated shortly to reflect this in the What's in the box section under Tech Specs.

As anyone like me who researches gear endlessly for hours, when I came across the BMPCC4K I was stunned at all the capability at that price point. If you are looking for a cinema camera that can deliver outstanding results you have found it! Yes, it doesnt have continuous focus or stabilization. But this is a cinema camera! This thing can shoot 4K 60fps lossless raw. The image quality is unmatched. Granted just about all media will only be able to record about 4-7 seconds of 4K 60fps lossless raw before it drops any frames, for most this is overkill. You can shoot 3:1 raw 4K 60fps all day long with no dropped frames on cFast or very cost effective Samsung T5 external drives. Being a cinema camera you will probably most likely have this thing on a rig or sticks most of the time anyways so the stabilization for me is a non issue. I honestly wish I could keep this camera a secret because it is my secret weapon in creating amazing films and I cant stress enough how amazing this camera truly is. 5

Received my BMPCC4K and with several Panasonic MFT lenses, the camera would not focus no matter how far I would turn the focus ring on the lens. Called Blackmagic and they sent me a RMA and I returned the camera. It had faulty connection/wire not attached from the lens contacts to the camera. took 7-10 days but they repaired it and it functional normally. 5

Es una cámara muy buena. Fiable y fácil de usar. Gracias a bhphoto por enviarla rápido. Estoy muy agradecido. Recuerden comprarla con disco duro externo. 120 fps en HD 60 fps en 4k La batería dura más de lo que pensé. La velocidad de escritura es algo a tener en cuanta a la hora de grabar junto con los tamaños de los archivos. Tener un pc con core i3 sexta generación en adelante con por lo menos 8gb de ram te permiten usar el davinci resolve perfectamente para cortometrajes.... Ya veremos para largometrajes. 5

Great camera in this price range , everything what I was expecting . Color (and even DR ) pretty close to URSA Mini so that is good . Yes , can recommend to upgrade from BMPCC or for those who gonna inter RAW video . 5
