I'm still learning about this camera but so far I'm loving it! A bit heavier than I thought but not overly heavy. Glad I chose this one.

This is a great camera, Still learning all of it's potential. But it can zoom in better than any other of camera I own.

I live next to a pond in Florida where we see lots of wildlife. This camera is a game changer when capturing beautiful shots to share.

This is a great, lightweight point and shoot camera. It has improved over the P900 and so much smaller and lighter than the P1000.
I got it as an option for when I go on long hikes, etc. and it is so much easier than carrying my full camera gear.
It works great!

Excellent at what it’s made for long distance outdoor photos. That’s what I bought it for. There are better choices if you’re not looking for an extreme zoom camera.

I purchased the Nikon P950 to use for bird photos. Typically, I use a Canon 100-400 mm lens with a 5D Mark Iv body. This camera works great for getting those far away shots you might otherwise miss. I was skeptical but it works well although I wish I could shoot in RAW. Impressed with the quality of the photos.

With 83x optical zoom that can take clear, detailed images of the moon, plus the ability to take clear, detailed closeups of 1 cm invertebrates equally well, how can you go wrong? Perfect for all of my camera needs!

Everything arrived in perfect condition, and promptly. The camera and it's stock accessories is just what I was hoping for. The right-hand grip area is very comfortable, non-slip and gives good control. Buttons and controls are intuitive re: placement and function. Lens quality and range from close-up to zoom is excellent! This model is so easy/instinctive to start using and getting good results, (even for those of us that spent decades using 35mm film SLR manual cameras! :D) but yet there are so many options and features to expand on, that the possibilities are nearly endless.


As far as the bundle package items that came with my purchase, the SD card is exactly what I wanted, but the camera bag is too small to be very useful. It came with several adjustable inserts, but even with all but one insert removed, there is BARELY room to SQUEEZE the camera into the bag, with the lens shade removed and placed between the insert and outside of the bag. The small/thin outer pouch/pocket does have space for extra SD card(s), and spare battery, and perhaps a small lens cloth or similar. But as hard as it is to get the camera into and out of the bag, it won't be using it nearly as much/often as I would like. I prefer to set a camera directly back into a protective bag or other device as soon as I'm done using it, especially for transporting in a vehicle etc. But when it takes both hands to force it into/out of the bag, ...? Overall, a great value, but I suggest a different camera bag unless you ONLY plan to use it for storage at home and during travel, vs. quick accessibility.

Great camera especially for birds and nature! Surprised at the weight thought it would be heavier so was pleasantly surprised!

Having owned a p900 the learning curve was not as bad. Still this camera is packed with plenty more features than its predecessor
