The camera features a 1/2.5" Sony 4K CMOS sensor and outputs over HDMI, or you can use the NDI or NDI|HX protocols to stream video and audio, control (IP), and tally.

The camera supports uncompressed video transmission over NDI and MJPEG, H.265, H.264, and NDI|HX compression formats. When connected to the Internet, this IP camera allows you to control PTZ actions and monitor the surveillance area from a remote location via a Web browser. This provides you with several advantages like reduced integration costs, easy remote production and engineering, and lower cost for multiple location systems. You can also control the unit via its RS-422 serial input with a separately available serial PTZ controller.

Equipped with a 12x optical zoom, this PTZ camera enables you to zoom in on activity in the monitoring area for a closer look. The lens also has a wide 80.4° field of view for capturing large meeting rooms. It features HDMI and USB 3.0/2.0 outputs as well as its RJ45 Ethernet output that can transmit up to 4K video on any NDI network, and the low-latency NDI|HX compression maintains high quality without any degradation. The RTMP/RTMPS streaming protocols are also supported so you can broadcast live directly to internet streaming sites. The camera also supports 3.5mm audio input, allowing you to capture and embed audio within the video signal.

A: 1) This camcorder can only stream via 1 protocol at a time. What most customers do when using a camera like this is they use NDI to send the video to their switcher across a local network and then the switcher is in charge of streaming out to YouTube via RTMP. (switcher can either be hardware like a NewTek Tricaster or software such as Vmix, Wirecast, or OBS) 2) there is no additional licensing cost for accessing NDI. I hope it works out for you!

A: No, the PTZOptics Studio Pro All-in-One Live Streaming Camera with 12x Optical Zoom does not have any recording support, but you could use the HDMI output to send the signal to a HDMI recorder if you wanted to record the feed, or you could try using recording software on your computer.
