Ingest video footage into your computer for editing or streaming from a 3G-SDI source with this 3G-SDI to USB 3.1 Gen 1 1080p Video Capture Device with Audio Embedding from BZB Gear. The capture device lets you import 3G-SDI video with up to 1080p60 resolution from various devices directly into your macOS or Windows computer with a USB port.

There is a 3.5mm stereo audio input that can be used to embed a separate analog audio source such as a microphone or audio player into your video, or you can select embedded 3G-SDI audio to pass through to the output using a switch. The capture device ingests footage using H.264 compression so it can be used for live streaming by connecting cameras and gaming systems, or for post-production purposes for video previews, editing, and storage. The unit is powered using the host USB connection, so there is no need for a separate power cable.

A: You will only be able to use one of these units at a time with a single device hooked up to it. Connecting multiple devices at a time will usually require a capture device with multiple inputs such as a Magewell HDMI Capture Card with 4 inputs or the AJA IO 4k which has SDI inputs.

A: This comes with the easy to use Stream Catcher Software which allows you to record H.264 files and stream to RTMP services. You can also use it with DirectShow compatible programs software such as Open Broadcaster Software.

Q: 5. Will this product be able to live stream a Canon Vixia HF R600 on a PC Windows 10?

A: Your capture device will accept signals from just about anything up to, but not including, a 3D or 4K HDMI signal so your Vixia should be fine. Your PROBLEM may be your PC which you do not identify. The PC must have a fast processor and an USB 3 port. A USB 2 port will NOT work very well if at all. My PC has two USB2 and only one USB3 so consult your manual.

This product works great, easy setup for both Mac and Windows platform. Good quality, this is a must have for video transfer from your VHS tapes. My wife had concerns on losing our wedding video that was captured on VHS twenty years ago. We transferred from tape to disc, and now we can rest easy. Thank you Elgato. Will recommend to friends. 5

I purchased a Video Capture cable recently so that I could transfer S-VHS tapes to my computer. I have started the process and everything is working great. Installing the cable and software went without a problem and the video capture software that ships with the cable is very simple to use. I could not be happier with this purchase. 5

Bought this initially for Mac PPC. The software wasn't supported.. Got it loaded up on a MacBook and it works quite well. I was surprised to see you could adjust contrast , brightness, etc. however, I believe you can only do the adjustments prior to logging. Essentially, the software they give us a basic program to talk to the hardware.. wish they could have just made drivers and made it universal. Overall, very satisfied with what a decent product it turned out to be, especially for just digitizing family videos and analog media sources. The price was much more competitive than Pinnacle or Linksys. 5

I am using this device to transfer all my old VHS, and camcorder tapes to my computer and it is doing an awesome job. Picture quality is good, no loss looks like the orginal. This thing is what I needed for my Mac in order to bring my old movies to youtube. It's perfect and makes your movies MP4 format so you can place them into final cut and further edit them. I love it!
