Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the weight limit?

A: They do not list a specific weight limit for this set. However it is a heavy duty solution. It will be able to handle a decent amount of weight.

Q: 2. Is this keyboard wireless or wired? How far away can it be from the Livestream system?

A: It is wired, and the cable on it is about 2 1/2-3 feet. We had to use a USB extension cable on ours for our set up. Our HD550 with higher placed USB ports is on a raised desk platform, and the keyboard is on the desk. So the keyboard cable was just out of reach.

Q: 3. How do they attach?

A: The foam wind muffs of the Insta360 Microphone Wind Muff Set for X4 (6-Pack) attach to hook-and-loop attachments that are secured to the Insta360 X4 via adhesive that is on the hook-and-loop attachments.

Q: 4. What is the maximum length of network cables you can use between the controller and tally lights?

A: No maximum length of network cables is explicitly defined on the Digital Arts metaSETZ TLC-8LS Tally Controller for Livestream Studio.

Q: 5. This product can only be use with livestream software?

A: This is meant for use with just Livestream products.

Q: 6. Do these blades also work with the regular Typhoon H?

A: Yes. The YUNEEC Full Set of Propellers for Typhoon H Plus (6-Pack) will also work for the Typhoon H,

Q: 7. Are you require to use livestream service for this product to operate? Or can you broadcast to other services to deliver your video?

A: This works with RTMP compatible servers and services. You do not need to use the Livestream Service specifically.

Q: 8. I had planned on purchasing the HD51, however I am now thinking this new product is the way to go. Anyone have any thoughts about the major considerations/differences?

A: The HD51 has 5 Inputs that can be either HDMI or SDI. With the Studio One there are 3 different models. One that is 4 SDI only, one that is 4 HDMI only and finally the 4K model which is 2 HDMI inputs only. That is the major consideration with the Studio One vs HD51 units, if you need the additional flexibility to go between HDMI and SDI connections.

Q: 9. Would this work with the livestream free version ?

A: Yes, the keyboard commands are the same for the free and paid versions.

Q: 10. How does this compare with the Surface Go control surface?

A: We bought both, the Surface Core and this keyboard (not the Surface Go, sorry). The Go seems to be a simple version of the Core. It seem's this keyboard is a must to use the software, because all the shortcuts are labeled and color coded. A normal keyboard WILL work, but if you have multiple users, rotating new users (church) it lengthens the learning curve. This keyboard makes quick work for occasional users, lets you focus on production instead of remembering which key is for what, or creating a cheat sheet... You can operate the system WITHOUT the Surface, using only the keyboard and software, but, navigating the software with only a mouse is not quite as easy as using the Surface. The Surface allows for quick easy camera selections, smooth transitions and MUCH easier to sit someone new in the chair and train them. I would HIGHLY recommend both pieces if you can get them. Hope this helps :)

Great build quality! I feel confident that this will securely hold my equipment and allow me to switch out gear swiftly and safely. I am a wedding photographer and I use this system to switch my profoto B10 with soft box quickly between a monopod that my assistant holds and a light stand that stays stationary at an event. This connection works much better than the standard equipment profoto mount.

It's always nice to add a piece of equipment that makes life easier. Originally I purchased one set of these systems to test how effective they would be within my arsenal. They're so easy and solid that I've slowly integrated the bases on almost everything within our production environment. I highly recommend!

In my case, I work with a gimbal, either on a tripod, a monopod or a tabletop tripod. I need to switch a lot between those different supports and this system works great. I was worried about rotation but once you turn to lock it, it stays in place firmly. I use a fully extended monopod with the gimbal on top so my camera is 12ft off the ground and this device holds everything together and gives me the peace of mind not to worry about my camera smashing on the floor.

As a pro shooting in college and pro sports, it is imperative to have every tool available to make changes on the fly and this Manfrotto system is superb and works great.

I've purchase quite a few of these now. I really like the deign and locks solid to whatever you're attaching to it. They also have a handy builtin 1/4 to 3/8 adapter. I can easily use them for setup and teardown attaching them to camera mounts and attaching them to shelving for securly storing expensive gear on shelves.
