Avid MC 7 Interplay Edition with Mojo DX & Elite Support is a single license of the 64-bit non-linear editing system for Mac or Windows computers and is compatible with available Avid Interplay solutions, allowing it to interface with your existing Interplay system. You receive an activation card to activate the software on one computer. Media Composer 7 allows you to work with most file formats and resolutions, including SD, HD, stereoscopic (3D), and resolutions above HD, using ACE certified editing tools. It also features built-in effects, transitions, and titling tools. With Media Composer 7, you can mix and match different formats, frame rates, and resolutions in the same timeline without rendering. Media Composer 7 features Full 4:4:4 HD RGB support, color correction tools, and ProRes encoding (Mac version only.)

Featuring built-in support for stereoscopic/3D footage, it is a full-fledged stereoscopic editing system. It is also compatible with a wide range of effects plug-ins. It features a multicam editing mode for cutting between 9 cameras simultaneously. For audio support, Media Composer 7 features built-in 7.1 surround sound support and audio mixing of up to 64 audio voices. It also features improved audio keyframing on the timeline and supports Pro Tools RTAS plug-ins. It supports available Avid and non-Avid hardware I/O cards and devices and comes bundled with Avid FX (Boris RED), Sorenson Squeeze, and AVID DVD, which allows you to author DVDs.

Avid's Mojo DX is an I/O device that connects to your computer using the included PCIe board. It provides input/output support for SD/HD-SDI, SDI embedded audio and two channels of Optical SPDIF or eight channels of Optical ADAT. It features an HDMI monitoring output, stereo headphone jack, and RS-422 control.

The optics are a huge improvement over my previous headset the Vive Cosmos Elite. I do miss the Valve Index Controllers I was using with that. The controllers here are fine and I haven't had any issues with tracking. There is a fairly limited software selection currently for standalone. I mostly purchased for PCVR though which is working fairly well. I've used it to wirelessly stream with the Vive Streaming hub over a point to point Wifi6 connection to my PC as well as over my Google Wifi Mesh network which is only 5ghz. It works better on 6 of course, but it worked well enough on 5ghz as well. Wired is obviously the best experience if you're playing something like a microsoft flight simulator or something else mostly stationary. Sound is pretty good. You can also pair bluetooth headphones or use a dongle to get a normal headphone jack from the accesory USB-C in the front of the unit. I'm really enjoying it in glasses mode where there is virtually no pressure on my face. My issue now is trying to find a usb-C cable with power injection that works to charge the unit so i can play PCVR that way without it slowly draining over time. 5
