A: Not recommended. You should get the Epson SureColor P7000 or the Epson SureColor P7570.

Q: 3. Can this printer be converted into a sublimation printer?

A: This is only intended for Epson Pigment Inks. Epson doesn't make sublimation Ink for this printer nor do they recommend putting in any 3rd party ink into it. It will clog the print-head & void your warranty. It's at your own risk.

Q: 4. Could the scanner handle a 24x30" item that is 2-3mm thick?

A: The max media thickness for the Epson SureColor T3170M 24" Wireless Printer, Scanner & Copier is 0.2mm thick.

A: No, this printer would not included a USB or an Ethernet cable

A: Epson Surecolor T2170 24" supports media thickness:of up to 8.6 mil. You need to tell the printer to raise the head height in order to protect the printhead otherwise you risk shearing the head of the printer off.

Q: 7. Can you print on vinyl rolls? Looking to make decals for company trucks and vinyl for outdoor signs.

A: The Epson T3170 can only handle 10.6mil or thinner media and on a 2 inch core. That severely limits the options especially for vinyl.
