In our previous house we used a different brand smart light switch, it worked as expected but costs a little more.� Our new house I went for a 2 pack of the TP-Link smart switch and it also works as expected for outside lights. No more need to manually turn on / off outside lights at dusk / dawn.�� Note that these switches take up more space in the gang box and may require creative positioning of the existing wires in the box. 5

My mother love it. Hooked two up one to her light and the other to her fan. Order a Double wall plate online and everything has worked great. Setup takes a min... first time but then you get a hold of it and second one took no time at all. Love the switch also. Hooked it up to Alexa and by voice can do the fan and light in the room now. 5

I installed three of these to replace older programmable switches that weren't WiFi capable. Installation was straightforward and the Kasa app setup went smoothly, as did the connection to Apple's Home app. They have worked reliably for a month now, blend in with my other switches, and were much less expensive than other, similarly capable alternatives I had considered. 5

Super easy to install as long as you have a simple switch: needs a bundle of white neutral wires, two black (or, in my case, one black and one white), and a green or copper ground. If your lights are controlled by more than one switch, you'll need to disable the other switches, which is possible but becomes a whole separate operation.� We installed 4 on Thanksgiving weekend. Two were simple (single pole) changeovers, and the other two required disabling one or two other switches. It took a ton of research but is well worth it to come home to all of the lights on or tell Alexa to turn them on or off when your hands are full. I wish I had purchased more than 4! 5

Have had great success with a couple of these now. They work great with Google assistant. A feature I really like which I don't think they had originally is using sunset and Sunrise as options for automatic on/off programming. Wifi seems to have good range - one location I was a little worried about is working great. 5
