Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Are the outside dimensions measured with the side pockets fully extended out...or collapsed as empty?

A: Yes, the listed (in the SPECS section) exterior dimensions for the Domke F-4AF Pro System Bag Ruggedwear (Dark Khaki) (B&H# DOF4AFK) refer to the bag with full side pockets. Just to avoid any possible confusion, those pockets are not removable.

Q: 2. Can this battery be used in both S1 Pro and S1 Pro+?

A: No, the Bose S1 Pro+ System Battery Pack is not compatible for use in the original Bose S1 Pro PA System. The physical shape of the battery used for the S1 Pro is different, so they are not interchangeable. The Bose S1 Pro System Battery Pack (B&H # BOS1BP) is the compatible battery for the original Bose S1 Pro System.

Q: 3. If this battery pack is being used on the S1 Pro+ is it still possible to access the mount for a speaker stand?

A: The Bose S1 Pro+ System Battery Pack does not interfere with speaker mounting.

Q: 4. Will the exterior back pocket fit an iPad?

A: No. A Kindle Fire or Kindle reader, no problem, but an iPad won't fit in the F4-AF-Pro. You can get an iPad just right in the back slot pocket on the F-803 camera satchel which is wider (side to side) but thinner (front to back). The F-803 however will not fit a larger SLR with a battery grip.

Q: 5. Can you pair the speakers together wireless without using the Bose app?

A: The Bose S1 Pro+ Wireless PA System requires the Bose App in order to allow for dual wireless streaming.

Q: 6. is this waterproof?

A: The Bose SoundLink Micro Bluetooth Speaker (Black) BH #BOSLMICROBK has an IPX7 waterproof rating.

Q: 7. Can these be used with a laptop/surface pro?

A: If your laptop has bluetooth, you can pair with the speaker.

Q: 8. Can you connect additional speakers?

A: Yes, the Bose L1 PRO8 Portable Line Array Speaker System with Bluetooth features an XLR M Line Out connection for sending signal to other speakers.

Q: 9. will the ER-L1 fit the Canon R8 ?

A: Yes, the Canon ER-L1 Camera Strap is compatible with the Canon R8.

Q: 10. Can I use 2 Bose s1 Pro+ for stereo music playback from laptop headphone out, using Mogami Gold 3.5mm TRS Male to Dual XLR M?

A: Yes, you can use two Bose S1 Pro+ speakers to create a stereo PA system with a 3.5mm to dual XLR cable connected to a laptop headphone out.

This bag is a nice size for my D90 with a 18-200mm lens attached. There is still plenty of room for a couple of other lens or my point and shoot Olympus Superzoom camera. What I especially like is that it doesn't look like a camera bag. When traveling, I just have to add my wallet and checkbook and I am good to go.

I had (actually still have and now honorably retired) a Domke F3X which served faithfully over 20 years thru many rough destination here and abroad. New camera and lenses are a bit bigger and hard to fit in the old bag, but the F4AF is great...essentially the same bag, but big enough to hold my D700 and 3 zooms plus extraneous stuff. It looks like it will also hold up 20 years

Nicely designed bag that is both comfortable and inconspicuous.

For once a bag that easily holds what the manufacturer claims. How often do you read holds DSLR and 3 or 4 extra lenses and flash. Yeah, right as long as it's 4 50mm primes. This comfortably holds DSLR with 18-200 attached, plus 2 large zooms and you still have the deep side pockets to fill up. Usual Domke canvas quality. For comfort, buy the Domke shoulder pad to go with it. Only minor criticism is Velcro fastening should be on all sides of the inserts.

I've bought this bag at least twice, if not three times. I love the padded compartments. I wish Domke made this in ballistic nylon, which fades less, and looks new longer. My F-4 AF Pro from 2011 has faded terribly, the strip down the front of the bag has faded to an icky bluish green. I just bought it again and am trying to keep it out of the sun. I can fit so much into this bag: Sony A7R4 with two 1.4 G Master lenses, Profoto A1X with its super cool and elegant magnetic light modifiers, Sony shotgun microphone, user guides for camera and A1X... extra batteries for the camera and that gorgeous A1X, plus all my personal junk, and I'm a girl, so that's a lot of junk, believe me. It's not as small as the F 3X B, but that bag has no padding. I used to carry a D5 and two 1.4 primes with the SB 910 in the 3XB, but that was super pro gear and I kind of didn't worry about babying it. Now that I have Sony I want the padding of the F-4 AF Pro for sure.

I started using a Domke F-1 with my F3HPs years ago. Held 2-3 bodies and 5 lenses with film. When I got a D90 and a new set of lenses, I used the F-1, but it just didn't quite fit right. The newer lenses were longer and fatter and I didn't need room for film, etc. I finally tried the F-4AF and am extremely satisfied. All the factors I've always liked about Domke bags are still there - light, soft/collapsible, great strap and good materials and workmanship. Plus the bag is just a bit taller for the longer lenses and the spaces are a bit bigger. The result is a great bag for my D7000 and 16-85 with room for 70-300VR, 10-24, 10.5/2.8 and either the 60/2.8G or 105/2.8VR macro. I can substitute the 300/4 AF-S or 200/4 macro for the 70-300 as conditions require. I don't really need the additional pockets, but they can be handy at times and crush down when not filled.

This bag fits my mirrorless camera with attached power grip. It also holds a few extra lens and other small items. The bag is made in the USA, which is nice and seems like it will last for years.

I have used Domke bags my entire career (25 years). This is my first bag this size. I had used the compact bag. The size increase was selected as I carry a few more items, such as an Owle Bubo for video work. It is just the right fit.

Domke F-4AF camera bag.....I was looking for a Camera Bag that was able to hold my Nikon D600,Tamron 24-70mm (attached), Nikon 70-200mm f4, and Nikon 85mm 1.8GGlass and I found it in the Domke F-4AF Camera Bag plus I could add my Nikon flash SB700 in one of the side pockets and still have room for extra an battery and battery charger, large Blower, and more....for a bonus if I had to I could bring one more Lens with me my Nikon 60mm Micro (just put it on top of my 85mm lens with a pad between them) The Materials is top notch that made this bag (heavy duty and it will protect your equipment but soft enough to comform to your body when carrying it) I know there is no perfect bag but this bag comes close to it. I would suggest you get the Mail Shourder Pad (FA-031) when you order this Bag. This bag is great for daily usage when you want don't want to bring the Kitchen Sink.

This grip makes the X-T2 feel great when you use a larger lens. Fujifilm also did a great job on duplicating the hand controls when you use the grip in vertical mode.
