This RevoRing Magnetic Front & Back Cap Set from H&Y is made to fit the 67-82mm RevoRing Variable Filter Adapter to protect the front and rear filter optics when in use. The caps enable steadfast protection of the VND and CPL glasses, which are an inseparable part of the RevoRing. The front cap attaches magnetically to quickly assure the filter is well protected. Both back and front caps are made of high-quality and lightweight aircraft-grade aluminum.

This cap set is made of lightweight, precision CNC-machined aluminum with a black anodized finish. The lens-facing cap features a soft velvet lining to prevent marring optical surfaces.

I purchased this to have on hand as a spare. I do event photography and it is easy to misplace small items such as lens caps. I am happy with the original Sony lens cap, and this spare copy is exactly the same as the original. In the past, I tried 3rd party lens caps and found the quality was just not there - they had sharp edges and the latches did not grasp well as this Sony brand item. 5

It's better than the lens cap that came w/ my sony 24-70mm f/2.8 v1 Gmaster. Feels smoother, more complete connection. more solid. will switch to this one, and use the old one as a backup. 5
