The VIJIM Mini Pocket LED Light, with a black body, is a small yet powerful variable-color temperature light with an output from 3200 to 6500K. The color temperature features stepless adjustment. The light is compact and light enough to slip into your pocket, yet durable enough to take anywhere in a camera or gear bag. In addition to the color temperature adjustment, the light also features dimming from 100 to 10% brightness. An included removable silicone diffusion cover softens the light's output.

The integrated battery charges via a USB port, and the light includes a USB cable for charging. The fixture has a built-in on/off switch and LED indicators that show you the charge status of the internal battery. The chassis features a single 1/4"-20 threaded mounting hole, and it comes with a cold shoe adapter. Also included are six colored gels that allow you to change the color of the light for creative effects.

A: Yes, this has a rating of CRI 95. This is a very nice quality light for the price with accurate colors.

Q: 10. Does this support pass-through charging? Asked another way, can it remain ON continuously if connected to a power source?

A: yes it can. When plugged in it will provide enough power to slow down the battery drain. Eventually it will die but it will take considerably longer than if you were just relying on battery life.

Having only taken photos of people and scenery, I was looking for a tabletop type studio that I could take quality photos of our new jewelry line. The "My Studio" fit the bill. I bought this because I have a client who gives my a certain amount of pieces to shoot at a time and I'm fairly new at jewelry, but have been to school for photography so have used tables much bigger with only professional lighting setups. This worked great for some pieces. I think another light will help and a tripod is definitely a must. But for the price and smaller product it is worth the buy for a small studio space. 5
