A: I'd go with the 10-29, it's not heavy so it should be fine. Just make sure you grab at least one stud, in not, use 50lb wall anchors

A: I doubt it. The bracket relies upon the weight of the TV to hold it in place. It also has velcro to help stabilize the TV but i doubt that the velcro would hold the TV vertically.
