A: I suppose you could. I use a Gimbal head but never felt the need to attach it to the panning plate. When using the panning plate I was in a safari vehicle with open roof and beanbags. I just mounted the lens to the panning plate and kept shooting. You would need to put a Swiss arca plate on the bottom of the Gimbal head and then put the head on the panning plate if you want to mount your gimbal head there.

A: If use sparingly, this should not leave any residue. I find if I use more that 1-2 drops on a wipe, yes residue is created.

A: I contacted Photographic Solutions regarding this and they stated that the Eclipse Optic cleaning solution is safe to use on the D800s sensor. The Eclipse 2 you mentioned was actually discontinued by them as they were not happy with the manner in which it evaporated which explains why it is not available.

Q: 10. Description says this can handle up to five wireless receivers, but the picture of the back of the unit looks like there are only enough BNC connections for four receivers. Can someone clarify?

A: Michael F. That is correct bro. You can use up to 5 different wireless units. There are two outputs in the back A & B. Each output has 2 sets of out puts for FOUR(4) units, but if you notice next to each output bank youll find 1 cascade on each side equality to two total on the back. If you use those, now you have the capacity to use 5 units. Notice that if you do use the cascade you wont be able to connect multiple units if that was your intention. If youre only using one unit, you will be able to use 5 units using the cascade, if your intention is to use multiple units then 4 max is what you can use per unit. I hope this helps brotha. I use 2 of them for our church and I use 4 wireless units per unit as I have them linked together through cascade.
