The Robus RCM-439 4-section monopod extends up to 65", and the twist locks provide a simple yet secure way to extend and collapse it quickly. Rotate the locks a quarter turn to extend or lock the sections, and non-rotating leg segments allow you to extend several sections at a time.

The 10x carbon fiber tubes offer stability and strength to dampen vibrations and provide a robust shooting support and are paired with aluminum twist-lock collars for optimal strength from minimal weight.

The textured rubber grip collar offers a tactile surface that ensures a confident grip on the monopod and your camera equipment. Moisture-wicking channels provide airflow to reduce sweat and minimize slippage

A reversible mounting thread allows you to quickly switch between 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 with a simple twist of the head plate. Flip the reversible 1/4"-20" & 3/8"-16 threaded stud adapter to attach or exchange a camera, lens collar, or any type of head in just moments

When out and about you never know what the terrain may be when you need to take a shot. Robus RCM monopods include a spike and rubber foot, which help stabilize your rig on any hard or soft surface you may encounter

The attached wrist strap makes it easy to secure the monopod with your wrist when your hand is on the grip. The integrated belt clip provides an option to secure the monopod to your waist when not in use and keeps it handy for when you need it

I used this for a High School football game photo shoot. It is very light (Carbon Fiber), and easy to adjust as you move around the field. It held my Sony a6000 with the 150-600mm lens tight and steady. I would recommend this for action shooting, will also try it out in the field for wildlife.

Having recently purchased the Robus RC-8860 tripod, and being extremely happy with it, I decided to upgrade my monopod as well. The Robus RCM-439 is a very well built and strong monopod for my Nikon D500 paired with the 200-500mm lens. I have the Wimberley MH-100 Monogimbal mounted to it and I absolutely love this setup! Great value for the price!

I love the Robus line of products. I have the RCC-5560 tripod and now the RCM-439 monopod it's fully adaptable and sturdy I have a Katana Jr. gimbal on it but I think I'm going to swap that out for something else, a bit more compact. I'm very happy with the Robus Line and B&H.

I've never used of or heard of this name brand before. I've been using Manfrotto monopods for 25 years and they are excellent. I've worn 3 out shooting division 1 college sports. The Robus is lighter, just as rugged, and I use it for macro photography as well, I have a camera cage, I turn the monopod upside down and use it to hang the camera down as far as to the ground for macro and animals and children, etc. As one's knees age such tools are a requirement to stay in the game of photography. This one only has 3 rubber covered connect/release circles instead of 4 yet reaches up to 65 inches in length. For Macro I need short segments with releases that are covered so my hand and/or fingers don't get hung up on them. It comes with a case for easy carrying and shipping on an airliner. And it's not a budget killer. All the way round I recommend this Monopod.

The Robus monopod is light and robust. It’s a quality monopod at a mid range price. I was lucky to catch a B and H sale, which saved me a decent amount of change. I recommend this monopod to anyone with a heavy rig. The stabilizing legs are quite sturdy. It’s 5 stars in my opinion.

There are quite a few monopods in this price range. But this one is almost the equivalent of those priced at 3 times its cost. The leg is strong, as I have put my weight against it while wedged between the floor and wall at a 45 degree angle with almost no bow. The leg locks take less than 1/4 turn to lock and unlock and lockup is solid. It holds my 1DX II and 400mm F/4L II with no problem. I use the spike foot as it allows the most nimble use in most cases. I have since switched from my tilt head to the Wimberley MH-100 MonoGimbal Head. And now I am confident I have a great setup.
