Capture dreamy, filmlike footage with the 62mm CineBloom Diffusion Filter from Moment. Available here in a density of 10%, this diffusion filter lets you escape the clinical, ultra-sharp look of digital photography. Engineered to catch and bloom light, the filter softens hard edges and provides a smoothing effect on skin tones, making wrinkles less noticeable. The ring of the filter is machined from aerospace-grade metal and designed to be thin enough to stack underneath another filter without compromising the field of view. This allows you to stack a neutral density or variable neutral density filter on top of it for shooting at cinematic frame rates and capturing motion blur.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can I use auto focus with this filter?

A: Yes absolutely. However I had problems with the Nikon 95 Polarizeras the two polarizing elements of the filter separated as I unscrewed it from a Nikon 200-500 F 5.6 tele. The two elements of this thin Nikon polarizer are held together with a thin silver wire. I sent it back to Nikon and asked for a new replacement filter but Nikon declined and sent the polarizer back repaired. Fearing the same problem might reoccur, I replaced the Nikon Polarizer with a B&W 95 polarizer which seem much more substantial.

Q: 2. Will this fit a 24-120mm lens?

A: Yes, the current 24-120mm Nikon lenses uses 77mm filters so the Nikon Circular Polarizer II Filter (77mm) is the correct size.

Q: 3. Nikon circular polarizer 77mm

A: Not sure what the question is but the Nikon CPOL II is top of the line. Compared to the B-W, the Nikon has a higher polarizing effect, smoother rotation, and is thinner. Easy one finger set inside a sun hood. Once set, it stays put. Pricey but worth it. Get step-up rings to cover other lens filter sizes

Q: 4. Will this fit on the iPhone 16 Pro as well?

A: The Moment CineBloom Snap-On Filter iPhone 15 Pro & 15 Pro Max (10% Diffusion), B&H # MOCBFI15P20, is only compatible with iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max Moment cases. For the iPhone 16 Pro Max, you would need to get the Moment CineBloom QuickLock Diffusion Filter for iPhone 15/16 Pro/Pro Max (10%), B&H # MO107131.

Q: 5. Will this work with the Leica Q3?

A: Yes, the Moment 49mm CineClear UV Protection Filter can be used onto the Leica Q3 Digital Camera.

Q: 6. Will this fit Nikon Coolpix P1000?

A: Yes it will fit.

Q: 7. I've never heard of magnalium. I always by brass rings because they don't bind like aluminum rings. How does magnalium compare?

A: Magnalium is an aluminum alloy with 10-5% magnesium and 90-95% aluminum. It is light, strong, and resists corrosion. In addition, the strength and hardness of aluminum increase when it is alloyed with such substances as magnesium, manganese, nickel, chromium, zinc, iron, copper, and silicon. Magnalium—lighter and more workable than aluminum—is used in making metal mirrors and scientific instruments. Since it is 90-90% aluminum, cross threading may still occur

Q: 8. Is this a new version which will work with the Moment 18mm lens?

A: The Moment 67mm T-Series Lens Filter Mount, B&H #MO130115, is compatible with Moment T Series Lenses like the Moment 18mm Wide T-Series Mobile Lens, B&H # MO130105.

Q: 9. How many stops does this filter step down?

A: The manual provide by Nikon generically covers Neutral Color NC and Circular Polarizing Filter II at 82mm and 95mm. I have the 95mm. The Filter Factor for external exposure meters is 1-2 stops (per Table 2 of the manual).

Q: 10. Hoya XHD3-72CRPL have a front thread to use for lens cap?
