The Sennheiser EW 100 G4-Ci1 is an easy-to-set-up rackmount wireless system that brings reliable high-quality, wireless sound to guitar and bass players performing in small to medium-sized venues including concert stages, houses-of-worship, theaters, and clubs.
The EW 100 G4-Ci1 features a true diversity, half-rack receiver housed in a rugged, full-metal chassis. The receiver's auto-scan function searches a wide 42 MHz UHF tuning range with 1680 selectable frequencies available, seeking out a clean, interference-free channel for your audio transmission. The onboard guitar tuner is an added convenience for musicians.
This system includes a Ci 1 cable that connects your instrument to the lightweight bodypack transmitter. The transmitter provides up to 8 hours of operation on two AA batteries, with a fixed 30mW RF power output and a transmission range up to 330'. Up to 12 wireless channels can operate simultaneously in the same space, with the receivers linked together for fast, multi-channel frequency setup.
The EW 100 G4-Ci1 is backward-compatible with previous evolution systems. You can mix and match G4/G3/G2/G1 receivers or bodypack, handheld, and plug-on transmitters. It is also compatible with EW 300/500 systems.

The 4' long Ci 1 cable connects the 1/4" output of your guitar or bass to the bodypack transmitter's locking 3.5mm input.
The adjustable input sensitivity on the transmitter accommodates instruments with passive and active electronics, and even line-level audio.
The rugged, all-metal transmitter features a programmable mute function and can be locked out to prevent accidental changes during a performance. A backlit LCD displays essential information and provides fast menu access. The transmitter syncs to the receiver via infrared with a quick press on the Sync button.
The SK 100 G4 is powered via two AA batteries or a rechargeable BA 2015 Accupack battery (available separately). Side contacts allow for recharging the Accupack without removing it from the transmitter—requires the L 2015 quick-charging unit (available separately).
The robust, metal EM 100 receiver offers a high-contrast, black and white LCD. The display uses a streamlined menu system with a dedicated Escape button for quick menu navigation and shows battery status of the associated transmitter.
The system features 20 fixed frequency banks with up to 12 compatible frequency presets and 1 user bank with up to 12 user-programmable frequencies.
To prevent interference, the EM 100 receiver's true-diversity reception compares incoming signals on two independent receiver circuits to ensure optimal RF quality. To ensure crystal clear audio, Sennheiser's proprietary HDX compander technology maximizes the microphone's signal-to-noise ratio, while avoiding RF noise.
The built-in equalizer enables you to change the frequency response of the output signal; you can reduce the bass range and boost the treble range. The receiver also offers an adjustable output level range of 48 dB to match the audio input of your mixing board or PA system.
The back panel houses a balanced XLR output as well as an unbalanced 1/4" output. A kit is included for rackmount installation. The unit comes with a universal power supply and EU, US, UK, Korea, Australia, and China adapters.
To simplify and speed up your workflow, two RJ10 data networking ports allow you to daisy-chain up to 12 receivers and quickly perform a frequency setup for the entire multi-channel system via the Easy Setup function.
If you assign the frequencies manually, you can expand the setup to accommodate a maximum of 20 receivers. An RJ10 cable is included.
The detachable antennas with BNC sockets allow you to create a larger system using up to four EM 100 receivers connected to a single pair of remote antennas. This setup requires the ASA 214 active antenna splitter (available separately).
Adding a pair of A 1031-U omnidirectional antennas or a pair of A 2003 UHF directional antennas increases the range of your system and offers increased protection against interference.
Sennheiser offers a variety of lavalier, headset, and handheld microphone options to adapt your EW system as your needs evolve.
- The discrete ME 2-II and MKE 2 lavalier mics provide exceptional clarity in spoken word applications.
- The lightweight ME 3-II headset mic provides exceptional clarity in spoken-word applications.
- The SKM 100 handheld transmitter is available with three different mic capsule options for presenters and performers who prefer the flexibility of a handheld microphone.
Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. can you shiping in india ?
A: Sennheiser does not allow us to ship this internationally. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Q: 2. can you add more receivers than two?
A: Yes you can. When adding additional receivers, make sure they are all on the same band and then just tune all receivers to the same frequency and it will work perfectly.
Q: 3. Can you interchange the microphone capsule from a Sennheiser ew 100 G3 microphone to this one?
A: Hi Louis - the microphone capsules for Evolution Wireless G3 and G4 are interchangeable and 100% compatible with each other. While EW G2 and EW G1 used a capsule system that was based on a cartridge design, the capsules for G3 and G4 are quickly & easily swapped by unscrewing them from the transmitter where the body meets the metal mesh of the microphone grille.
Q: 4. Can I use this device to transmit Zoom meetings? So my presenters can listen to the questions in ear?
A: Yes you csn send the audio from a computer into an audio interface or mixer and out to the Sennheiser ew IEM G4-Twin Wireless Monitor System Kit.
Q: 5. Is there a way to assign left channel to one receiver and right channel to another, either through the transmitter or the receiver configuration settings?
A: Unfortunately not , channels are not assignable.
Q: 6. What are the biggest differences between this and the AVX system with the MKE2?
A: The biggest difference is that this system is UHF and the AVX system is digital. The Sennheiser ew 512P G4 system features a very wide band of UHF frequencies- up to 88 MHz bandwidth with 3250 selectable frequencies; high RF output power; and a range of over 300 feet. The AVX systems feature superior audio quality; a unique receiver configuration with an XLR connection; easy set up; and less chance of interference from TV broadcasts.
Q: 7. Are these zero-latency? There is nothing more distracting than hearing yourself with a tiny delay.
A: These types of UHF frequency based systems will have the lowest latency possible when transmitting audio.
Q: 8. Can this transmitter be used with XS wireless true diversity receiver?
A: No, the Sennheiser SKM 100 G4-S Handheld Wireless Microphone Transmitter with Mute Switch is not compatible with Sennheiser XS series receivers. This transmitter is only compatible for use with G series receivers operating on the same frequency band.
Q: 9. Hello! This package have two receivers only; Can I use more receivers for same transmitter over same frequency?
A: Yes, you can add more recievers, which would all receive the same mix. The appropriate reciever is the Sennheiser EK IEM G4 Stereo Bodypack Receiver with IE 4 Earphones (A: 516 to 558 MHz), BH #SEEKIEMG4A.
Q: 10. will this work with a Sennheiser ew 100 G3 receiver?
A: Hi Louis - Evolution Wireless G4 is cross compatible with all previous generations, just be certain to purchase the correct frequency range and please note that the frequency presets won't be the same. This won't cause any operational issues, but you'll notice that the Bank.Channel info will default to the User Bank (i.e. U.1) when you sync your G4 transmitter to your G3 receiver.
