Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What are the lux and lumen values?

A: The Pantone 3 Light Booth D65 does not list the lux or lumens value as it is a color viewing station. It provides consistent and controlled lighting through industry standard fluorescent bulbs to simulate daylight, home, and store lighting.

Q: 2. How would this guide work for advice on the Z6 II? He has a new book about the Z6 II but it costs $40. I don't think there is that much difference between the 2 versions of Z6

A: This will be good for giving you general information on the camera as well as some detailed information. There are some differences between the cameras in terms of features and menu settings and layout. So there will be something's that aren't addressed or can be confusing when using this book. That being said, for the most part this book will be a very useful resource for using the Z6 II. Additionally the book for the Z6 II is not available in print yet. If you need something now, this is the one to get.

Q: 3. Is it available in Spanish?

A: Unfortunately B&H do not sell a Spanish version of this book.

Q: 4. Would Busch's guide on the Z6 also be good for the Z6 II ? I don't think the 2 cameras are that different, and Busch has a new book on the Z6 II that costs $40.

A: I do believe the Nikon Z6 and the Nikon Z6 II are similar enough to where you may get benefit using the older book for the newer camera. However, there may be some autofocus, intervalometer, and video features that were released with the newer camera may be better explained in the newer book designed specifically for the Z6 II. That being said, if you are on a budget, this book may still be beneficial for your usage needs.

Q: 5. scan newspapers wider than 8.5. is it possible to combine to get complete article merged?

A: Unfortunately no, it can only scan text up to 8.5 inches wide.

Q: 6. what is the difference between Light Box D50 and D65?

A: The D65 lighting is for reviewing color for hard/soft goods, textiles and coating color. For reviewing color on printed materials, use D50 lighting.

Q: 7. What is the difference between Epson XPS 5100 printer and the XPS 5200?

A: The Epson Expression Home XP-5200 Wireless All-In-One Color Printer replaces the older Epson Expression Home XP-5100 All-In-One Printer. For one this printer uses newer inks and cannot use the same inks as the older model. Aside from that, print speed is the same, and you lose the built in card reader.

Q: 8. Can I scan documents while the USB cable is connected and device is getting charged on the run?

A: Yes, according to the online manual, you can use the device while the usb cable is connected.

Q: 9. Good for info on shooting flat and MLUTS? I'm looking at this book and Doug Jensen's Master Class on Vimeo. I'm basically trying to figure out which one to buy as I don't need or want both. I'd rather buy the less expensive book if it has the info I need. What I'm really looking for is some clarification on Cine EI and S-Log and it's function, MLUTs and Look Profiles and scene files and how they operate. I've been working with Sony cameras for a long time. Most of the operation is all very familiar to me, but I'm new to shooting flat and I don't really understand how one thing affects another when it comes to MLUTS and s-log, etc. Any help in making a decision would be greatly appreciated.

A: Hey Brad,Basically I was in the same boat as you, I know Sony cameras inside and out but was new to a camera that shot s-log and had the ability to show a client an MLUT on a monitor so they weren't looking at a flat, unflattering and washed out image that no matter how much you tell them won't look like that when you've finished adding a LUT. Dougs book is great especially when you are out in the field and you need a quick refresher, something you can't do with the video presentation that he also has. I also like the fact that at the end of each chapter Doug, gives his own personal recommendations which really do help. He really is able to break down the camera within each chapter and write it in a way that you automatically understand. Lastly Brad, this FS7 camera comes with way more menu options than even I thought it did and Doug breaks down what every single thing means. He also let's you know how many mbps each shooting style records at. I would definitely recommend this book to you or a friend. Good luck and enjoy the camera, I bloody love it!

This is a review for the Epson Expression Home XP-4200 Wireless Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. The installation process was amazing simple & the accompanying instructions are easy to follow along with.

Overall, I strongly recommend purchasing this model. As this printer has all the features you would need for everyday printing for home or small office. I was surprised how quickly it prints verses other printers that are similar in price.
