This is a review for the Epson Expression Home XP-4200 Wireless Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.
I tested the Epson XP-4200 with an iPhone 13 Pro, an iPhone 12 mini, an iPad mini 6, an iPad mini 4, and a MacBook Air M2.
I was not able to set up the printer using the Epson Smart Panel app as this model was not recognized . . . but, following the app instructions for a Manual Setup was a breeze. Instructions were clear, and the setup proceeded quickly and smoothly.
Using the Smart Panel app, I was easily able to print, copy and scan documents from each mobile device. The printer responded quickly and performed each task well. Print quality is excellent. I have only printed a few photos, but I am very pleased with the results. Copying and scanning from the display was also very easy to do. I like the flat lines of the printer. I would prefer a tray feed for paper, but the rear feed works fine. I realize that would both increase the size of the printer and the cost.
Overall, I am very pleased with the Epson Expression Home XP-4200 printer.

The XP-4200 arrived well packed and undamaged. Installation is very easy, did not take more than 15 minutes. Once you have it connected to your WIFI, it walks you through setup of additional features. The Epsom ScanSmart software is a must and makes using this printer so much easier and offers you a lot more things to do. This is included with the printer. It is not a big unit but delivers as well as others I have owned and used which were larger ones. The 4 ink cartridges are included, and installation is easy. The paper tray holds 100 sheets which is good for a home printer and meets my needs.
The print quality is really good, better than I expected to be honest. The colors are crisp, clear and look great when finished. You are able to adjust the quality if you want to save on ink. The actual printing is fast and never experienced any delays or errors. The scanner sends documents quickly, never had any issues with them being delayed or not going through. The speed of printing again is great, could not be happier. The same holds true when copying, it is fast, and the quality is the same. Both photo and document printing were quick and delivered excellent quality outcomes. Overall, for the size if this you really cannot beat this, especially for the price. I was going to give it 4 stars because it doesn't have the eco tanks, but I am rating this printer not one with it.

The printer has a very easy setup process and I set the printer up with my Android phone using the Epson Smart Panel App. There also isn't that much packaging for the printer and there are paper instructions included too. The setup process took less than 15 minutes and I just followed the walkthrough in the app.

I did have a bit of an issue adding the paper for the printer, and the paper instructions were helpful with that. The front of the printer is not a touch screen but the screen itself is bright and colorful. The screen is easy to navigate. Scanning to specific destinations was simple to set up in the app. Printing is also not too loud for the printer and the printed document was clear and bright.

I am very pleased with the printer and the compact style of the printer makes it less bulky. It's great for a home office or dorm for students. I really like how easy it was to set up the printer through the app. I am excited to use this printer for school and work.

I received the all-in-one printer and was pleasantly surprised at the compact nature of it as well as the weight. The printer was easily unboxed from the packaging and easily set up. Once I was able to turn on the printer, it was rather easy to connect the printer to my home wifi. The display screen as well as the tactile buttons made entering my home wifi information rather seamless and efficient.

Once the printer was set up, the printer engages in a series of tests to calibrate the printer heads. This was something that I have never done before. The series of tests were rather easy and helpful. Once the calibration tests were completed, I was able to wirelessly print my documents. Sending my documents to the printer was a breeze and the printer began printing instantaneously. The printer was also rather quiet while printing, while also very quick at printing. The accuracy of the documents printed was identical to the documents on the computer screens.

Overall, this is a great all in one printer that is capable of providing many functions in a compact manner. If you're looking for a great printer that can meet all your needs, this is the one to purchase!

I got this about a week ago or so and honestly I love it it really has been a life saver. I thought it was going to take awhile to set up but honestly it didn't take long at at all. All I did was download the app and follow the instructions. It gives you step by step directions on what to do.
The 3 in one printer is just the right size and will fit pretty much anywhere. It is not to heavy at all either which is a plus. I love the fact I can send stuff straight from my phone to the printer and done. The scanning part has been a life saver! My kids have even been putting it to good use. If you have not got you one and was thinking bout. I'm here to tell you go get it you will not regret it!

After much research I purchased the Epson XP-4200 printer a month ago. I was familiar with Epson printers since I had an XP-4100 for many years. I did not set up my first printer myself, so I was a bit nervous about it. To my delight, setup was very easy, instructions were simple and within one hour I was printing. I am very pleased with my new printer and would definitely recommend it if you are on the fence about what to purchase! Also excited that I was able to pack up the old printer, which was not working, print out a label which Epson provided and send it back to them for recycling. I dropped it off at a Fed Ex location and was glad that I did not have to dispose of it. Thanks Epson!

Instructions were clear and simple, and I had the unit up and running in no time. Software and menus are intuitive and had me easily navigating through all necessary tasks. iPhone app printing works as expected and without any delay.

Build quality seems robust and should hopefully serve my needs for years to come. Print quality was better than expected and printing is done without being excessively noisy. Copy and scan functions perform as expected, and I will continue to explore the multitude of options with these features.

Overall, I'm satisfied with the performance of the XP-4200 and its small footprint. This unit, with its features and capabilities, should strongly be considered when in the market for a new 3-in-1 home printer.
