A: This is a IR remote control. That actually is a picture of our remote that comes with our Lecture Capture LC102 device. Although it will control our PTZ cameras, we have a PTZ remote control that will have more functionality including opening camera controls. I'm going to assume that B&H simply imported the wrong image to go with the description. It doesn't come with a receiver. Not sure of the RS 485 question. Let me know of any other questions. A: This works with Datavideo cameras like the PTC-140, PTC-150 and PTZ-10T.

A: No, the Avaya is not on the roster of compatible devices.

A: Not that we are aware of. This is only compatible with select Huddlecam PTZ cameras.

A: Yes, the Marshall Electronics Wall Mount will work with the CV630 as well.

A: No it can not.

A: The Panasonic AW UE 70 PTZ is not included in the product's compatibility list and oftentimes, Panasonic products are very specific to branded protocols.

Q: 8. can connect to a switch instead of a router ?

A: Unfortunately, with the nature of this product's workflow, either the Datavideo PTZ or motorized heads connect to a router to operate over a network or to the controller itself over ethernet.
