Q: 1. If I add 2 of these extensions: Ergotron LX 9 Extension Arm for LX-Series Mount: would I be able to mount the 2 Acer 38 Displays that I just gota so from B&H? :)

A: No, the largest flat screen you should ever mount to this dual mount application is two 26 flat screens--anything larger and the arm won't hold the load.

Q: 2. Can you stack two 27” monitors on top of each other with this stand?

A: Yes you can stack to 27" monitors. Note: Supported Screen Sizes Up to 40" / 102.0 cm Number of Displays Supported 2 Load Capacity 20 lb / 9.1 kg (Per Arm) Mounting-Hole Pattern 75 x 75 to 100 x 100 mm Height Adjustment 13.0" / 33.0 cm Pole Height 22.00" / 55.9 cm https://bit.ly/3kaUuZp

Q: 3. Have a roll-top desk with a 2.5” cable routing hole near the back. Wondering if the mounting clamp would fit through that hole. Surface is 3/4” thick. Also how much room would be needed behind the clamp?

A: No. The mounting clamp will not fit through a 2.5" hole. On the room behind the clamp- depending on the position of the monitor screens; leaving 1-2" would be ok.

Q: 4. Just clarifying that the weight capacity is for Individual monitor weight? (7-20 lbs per monitor) 20-40lb total weight...

A: The Ergotron LX Dual Desk Mount Side-by-Side Arm (Black) BH #ER45245224 will support up to two 27"monitors, each weighing from 7 to 20 pounds.

Q: 6. Can this work with dual Apple Pro Display XDR?

A: The Ergotron LX Dual Desk Mount Stacking Arm for Displays up to 40" (White), B&H # ER45509216, can fit two displays up to 40" with a VESA mounting hole pattern of 75 x 75 or 100 x 100mm. Each arm can support up to 20 lb.

Q: 8. How wide can the arms extend to the sides. I'm trying to mount the monitors so they flank the side of a 27 in iMac? Thanks

A: 25 from the center on each side.

Q: 9. I can't understand the decription. But if I have two 27 monitors, will this fit?

A: I have two Dell Professional P2714H ? 27 Monitors on mine and it works well.

Q: 10. I would use this mount on a standing desk, but my concern is that it needs a good amount of clearance behind the desk for the arms. I only have about 3 between my desk and the wall. Would it be able to fit in that space without the monitors being too close to the front of the desk? Thanks.

A: I have a free standing desk and when the monitors are pushed all the way back they extend about 10 past the back of my desk. Where mine are at usually they are less than 7 . With that being said, if there was a wall behind my desk the arms articulate plenty and still allow a lot of flexibility. You could also only use 1 set of arms to reduce the range and not have the arms protrude beyond the back of the desk.
