Combining class-leading sound quality with single cable convenience, the 4430A uses PoE to produce uncompromised SPL and acoustic performance, and is fully compatible with both Dante and open streaming standards such as AES67 and ST2110-30. Manufactured in Finland using certified sustainable methods, the 4430A will provide decades of reliable service.

As part of the Smart IP family, the 4430A integrates tightly with our Smart IP Manager software—which allows installers to configure an almost unlimited number of rooms, zones, loudspeakers, and audio channels. It includes device discovery, a versatile room EQ tool set, system organization and status monitoring. After which, a public API command set allows the 4430A to be integrated into house automation systems for day to day use.

  • Smart IP was created for discerning professionals who demand premium loudspeaker performance that can integrate quickly and seamlessly into any AV application, no matter how complex the project.
  • Powered by PoE and compatible with both Dante and AES67 IP audio streams, Smart IP also offers flexible loudspeaker management to provide system designers, integrators, and installers with a scalable, powerful and cost-effective solution.

  • To deliver pristine audio quality, Smart IP loudspeakers utilize the same two-way active technology that has made Genelec the first choice for demanding studio and broadcast applications for over forty years.
  • Featuring our trademark Minimum Diffraction Enclosure and Directivity Control Waveguide, Smart IP loudspeakers provide clarity, intelligibility, and beautifully uniform coverage, combined with bulletproof 24/7 reliability.
  • There’s much more, though. Smart IP supports uncompressed low-latency audio streaming directly into each loudspeaker, with synchronization to sub-microsecond level for solid acoustic imaging. Each loudspeaker supports up to eight audio channels in a stream with sample rates of 32 to 96 kHz and 16- to 24-bit resolution, all manageable via Dante Controller software.

  • Designed to work closely with any Smart IP loudspeaker system, Smart IP Manager software allows installers to configure an almost unlimited number of rooms, zones, loudspeakers, and audio channels, and it includes device discovery, versatile room-equalization tools, system organization, and status monitoring. This enables installers to deploy Smart IP loudspeakers even on highly complex, acoustically challenging projects, with a public API command set to allow external control via third-party hardware, software, or house automation systems. For seamless integration with Control4, QSC Q-SYS and AMX systems, we provide a simple, ready-to-go driver, which can be downloaded and used free of charge.
  • For smaller, less complex installations, the Smart IP Controller app gives the end user day-to-day control of mute, volume control, power on/off and zone control, all via a smartphone or tablet. The Controller app will automatically discover the loudspeakers on the network, and offers a clean and intuitive user interface that both experts and non-technical staff alike will find straightforward and satisfying.

  • Created in conjunction with leading Finnish industrial designer Harri Koskinen, the elegantly minimalist Smart IP loudspeaker enclosures are fashioned from recycled aluminum and are built to the highest environmental standards at our headquarters in Iisalmi, Finland.
  • Designed for low power consumption and offering many years of reliable performance—all backed up by Genelec’s renowned service and support. Smart IP systems are a secure, long-term, and environmentally sound investment.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I have a question regarding this speaker. I bought a pair with CS3 Bookshelf and subwoofer from Sony. I need to choose an AVR and I am quite confused. The CS3 has a 145 Watts maximum input power. On the Web, I have found that choosing an underpowered AVR could damage the speaker due to clipping. I have also found that there should be no problem with a more powerful AVR. Finding an amplifier or AVR supporting 6 ohms speakers with 145 Watts maximum is not obvious for a 7.2.6 home cinema room. What should I choose: an underpowered amplifier/AVR or a more powerful one? For example, is choosing an AVR of 170W for 6 ohms with 2 channel driven would be okay (the power decreases when all channels are used)? Thanks in advance.

A: You will not need n amplifier or receiver that is rated to the maximum peak input power of this speaker. You will not have to worry about clipping if the receiver is rated from say 65 to 125 watts RMS per channel at 6 ohms. SOONY does not provide the more accurate RMS or Continuous rating, but it is closer to 75w per channel at 6 ohms.

Q: 2. Could tell me the exact package box dimension of this speaker

A: Package Weight 29 lb Box Dimensions (LxWxH) 40 x 14 x 11.5"

Q: 3. What is the recommended caliber for these speakers?

A: Depending upon the length of your speaker wire run, I would not use a wire gauge smaller than 18 AWG: Pyramid High Quality 18 Gauge Speaker Zip Wire (100' Spool) MFR #RSW18100 • BH #PY18HQSZW100

Q: 4. Its International Warranty?

A: The Sony SS-CS3 speaker has a one year Sony US warranty only.

Q: 5. Is the STR-190DH (Sony) at 100 watts strong enough to run 2 of these speakers?

A: Yes they are compatible.

Q: 6. does this include one speaker or two?

A: This is for one speaker, not a pair.

Q: 7. Are these speakers good just for a 2 channel system or are they only for surround sound?

A: The SS-CS3 is compatible for use in a stereo set up or a surround sound set up.

Q: 8. how to set up BLUETOOTH for pyle pphp1537ub?

A: First turn it on,connect to Bluetooth that the name.Hit the button mode one time.It will disconect and then connect automatically.Play with it.

Q: 9. Can a 2nd speaker be connected for stereo?

A: Not directly, no. You can add a second MS101-4 Powered Monitor to allow for a stereo setup, but the second monitor can't receive the corresponding signal via the first MS101-4. If you are sending the left channel to the first one, you can only send the same channel to a second speaker via the line-out XLR port. You will still need to wire the second speaker to the main device you are using to send a stereo signal to the speakers.

Q: 10. Can they be used for a sound bar back speakers?

A: Only if there is a way to hook them up to the soundbar. These are designed to be used as a front L/R stereo pair. Seems like overkill for rear speakers with a soundbar.
