The LS-BHA Baby Ball Head Adapter from Impact can turn any light stand or adapter with a 5/8" baby mounting stud into a platform for mounting ball head or pan-and-tilt tripod heads. Add functionality to a light stand or combo stand by using the LS-BHA to attach a standard photo or video tripod head with a 3/8"-16 female mounting thread. By removing the locking knob, the adapter's receiver quickly converts into a 1-1/8" junior pin for compatibility with stands having junior receivers.

This adapter is also a convenient way to mount a tripod head in nontraditional ways with grip equipment such as booms, grip arms, super clamps, and more. This sturdy aluminum adapter features a 2.2" base diameter that will comfortably accommodate most tripod heads, and it has three set crews to securely lock the head to the adapter.

Turn any light stand, C-stand, or combo stand into a platform for a ball or pan-and-tilt head.

Designed with a 5/8" baby pin receiver with an ergonomic locking knob for security. By removing the locking knob, the receiver becomes a 1-1/2" junior stud that can be inserted into a combo stand.

The head mounting plate features three set screws for stability and security and to ensure that the camera head won't loosen or wobble, even when mounted at an angle.

Mount tripod heads on booms, grip arms, or super clamps for unusual angles or setting cameras into a tight space where tripods or light stands won't fit.

Using these are heads on mini C stands for my Syrup slider set up. They work perfectly. A little expensive for what I'm needing them for I feel like but they get the job done and I'm happy! 5

The Impact Baby Ball Head Adapter allows me to convert one of my c-stands into a make shift tripod or mic stand. With a large c-stand you can get a camera pretty high up to get some unique shots or into places that may not be possible with a regular tripod. It's all metal and should hold up well over time. I like the inclusion of the the set screws to give you more security. This a great addition to the bag. (I received this product in exchange for my honest review. ) 5

This does the job very well and I see it as a nice addition to my kit. I like things that are versatile and can do multiple functions, and this checks those boxes. Can mount on a regular light stand or be used with a larger heavy duty stand's "junior" receiver by removing the locking knob. This allows you to turn a stand into a sturdy tripod by attaching a tripod head. Giving you the ability to go very high if need be or just be a second "tripod" or other things. Could also mount a microphone, a gimbal (if it has a female 3/8" screw hole on the bottom ,which most, if not all do), a light and a bunch of other things that receive 3/8-16 screw thread. You can also grab it by a c-stand arm or attach it to the "stick end" of a c-stand arm and extend things overhead. Just a bunch of different things you can do with this little adapter. Seems well made and sturdy because it is all metal. Should last a long time and be a helpful, versatile addition to my kit for rigging. You can never be overprepared right?
