The Shure MX424 is a 24" gooseneck condenser microphone designed for panels, conferences, and public-address applications and engineered to deliver accurate and detailed voice reproduction for demanding professionals. The longer adjustable gooseneck length allows for optimal positioning for a wide variety of speakers and presenters and is well suited mounting on deep tables and large surfaces.

At home on conference tables, pulpits, or lecterns, the mic features an electret-condenser capsule with a 50 Hz to 17 kHz frequency response that's tailored for crisp, clear speech and vocals. The Microflex series' modular design allows you to easily swap out mic capsules depending on the application and the acoustic properties of the environment. This version of the mic is offered without a mic capsule, allowing you to choose the Microflex capsule with the best pick-up pattern for your application.

The supplied snap-fit windscreen clicks into place on the mic to ensure secure attachment and helps reduce plosives and breath noise by up to 30 dB for clearer, more intelligible audio. The included shockmount installation flange provides over 20 dB of isolation from surface vibration noise. Additional hardware is provided for quick and easy mounting to surfaces.

Q: 4. Hi, I was just wondering. Is it possible to connect Shure VP88 to Sony PCM-D100? And how? And is there any disadvantage in doing that? (recording quality, etc.) All the best, Emil

A: The Shure VP88 can be used with a portable recorder such as the D-100 when set to stereo mode and using the internal battery power. To connect to the 3.5mm input on the recorder would require the included Y cable and additional adapter cable. There would be no disadvantage, however the PCM-D100 is designed primarily for use with the internal mics, and a mic such as the Shure would benefit from a unit with XLR inputs and higher quality preamps.

A: The Shure SM31FH Fitness Headset does not include a transmitter or receiver. However the connector hardwired to this unit is compatible with all current Shure wireless systems, and is also offered as a complete package with transmitter and receiver. a href= http://bhpho.to/1sUWR6a target= _blank http://bhpho.to/1sUWR6a/a
