The Kirk plate is the perfect addition to Canon's RF 100-500 lens. The plate fits perfectly, is beautifully finished and includes optional screw stops to prevent the lens from falling from a loose clamp. I also find the plate to be a convenient handle for carrying the canera/lens. 5

Fits nice and is built really sturdy. Arca plate fits good in arca tripod head. If you use optional stoppers on the bottom that prevent sliding out of head you'll find that it will not stand straight when you put it down on a flat surface but that is nothing unexpected. 5

For many years I have depended on really Right Stuff lens and camera plates. But, this Kirk plate for the RF 100-500 is top quality and less expensive that what I would expect to pay for an RRS version. 5

I'm so glad that this was made for the 100-500mm lens. It stops the lens from shifting and I can leave it on the collar at all times. It is great for quick and easy gimbal head attachment and removal. It is worth the cost. 5

This is a custom fit longer plate that replaced a generic short one that looked good, but lacked functionality. Long plate is a must for gimbal heads or nodal plates, where the lens must be moved forward and backwards either to balance the setup, or to find the parallax-free point. A longer plate also allows finding the correct balance point if strap is attached via an Arca plate. 5

The Kirk LP-71 quick release plate fits my Canon RF 100-500 perfectly. This is the only quick release plate that I could find made specifically for the Canon RF 100-500. As usual, great service from B&H. 5

This replacement foot for Canon RF 100-500mm lens is something you need, because Canon is so negligent for not making their lens foot with an Arca Swiss mount already on it!! It would be so easy for them to make the foot correctly, but they don't, so get this add-on from Wimberley. 5
